KaM exactly!! There is a lot of correlation between chipping and throwing. My dad actually uses throwing to help with the pitching motion. Also it was just a fun format to help lighten the mood but still be competitive!
You two should play a alternate shot match. Where you each have to switch after every shot and see who wins. So you both tee off, then switch, hit second shots then switch till the hole is completed. See who wins. That could be funny and awesome.
what was Wesley's driving distances like today? he BOMBS but i watched a video of him playing from either 2017 or 18 and the announcer (some PGA guy) said his swing is not for distance. it confused me because it seems like he sends balls to outer space!!!

george i think you need to get the ball moving on the green as fast as possible (start it lower instead of a lob), you would have better control of speed and avoid unexpected bumps

Actually in the videos coming out in 2 weeks I start hitting my irons much better! Lol went through a 2-3 week mini slump with the irons but we are trending. So you will see those hopefully in the up coming weeks

If you watch disc golf, that is their ruling. Think it is fair on the game itself. All the best for Wesley. Is he starting in two weeks time?

George I’m convinced you would beat me by 20 strokes ,but a tip that even can help the best golfer such as yourself is to stand behind the club and aim that way lol. You hit it too straight with your irons to not hit 12/18 GIR. I want you to beat Wesley but 24:09 can’t happen to do that lmao.

Next time, you should try that you get to move your opponents ball once per hole after any shot that didn’t start on the green. Limit it to maybe 10 or 15 ft. Make it tougher instead of easier.
Love the videos. Such great content. Played this format today to make things fun. First round back for my dad after hip replacement. Got paired with a random guy in our 3 some and the random guy was hooting and hollering like he was 30 years younger because he drained a couple 60 footers. So refreshing to play and made my dad not think about being serious. Thanks for the idea.
George just to say, from what I can tell, unless you’re trying to hit that baby cut, you’re aiming left with your feet on pretty much every shot hence the left miss
I feel like you shouldnt be able to get closer to the hole then where your ball is, like in any game ever where you throw something - idk. Its a made up game so where cares but..
With the hand wedge thing the requirement should be to stand behind your ball relative to the hole and pick up the ball and throw it without moving. That one foot on the spot is bogus.
Should have thrown it closer to the hole on the short par 4s or 2nd shots on par 5s to get closer to the green or give you a better shot/angle into the green
It's okay Jerge, we all get into slumps some days. Another fun format you can do is something like a 14 club challenge over 6 holes. Once you use a club (except putter) you lose it.

Yep so it was just to keep things light. These are good exercises to bring the fun out in golf which is much needed when you do it for a living 🤙🏼
