The essence is that this cable is so expensive because there are people out there that buy it for that amount of money. Why you ask so much money ? Because we can. Simple as that.
Which in it self is just stupidity. But they are still selling these products with very questionable marketing to fool people into buying these overly prices snake oil cables. In Sweden this kind of marketing is even illegal, but I guess no one have tried Nordost (or any other similar audio companies), so they can just keep doing this shady business :\
Sending signals through a wire is something we started to do 180 years ago. It is all well understood. Anything else is deceptive marketing.

Funny, open up ur speaker cabinets and take a look inside. From terminal point to crossover, there is most likely used a bland cheap cable that you can find in ur local hardware store
If you open high end speakers like Marten you find very expensive cable. So that’s not true for all speakers 😊
