Good video, Rob. I like it when we see real life locations of films and shows that depict historical events. Your video is very helpful, especially for learning and seeing what allied forces faced on Normandy and how the movie compares to that. Great work.
Great video Rob. I must visit Normandy. My Uncle was an ARV driver in the Tank Regiment and went ashore on Sword beach on D Day and I'd love to see it for myself. My uncle had quite a war. He fought all the way from Normandy through the Ardennes and into Germany. Following the end of the war he stayed on in Germany as part of a peace-keeping force and drowned in the sea off Laboe. He is buried in a war grave in Kiel.
