Wow! That’s a lot of sick days. We only get 7 a year and then we have to pay for our subs. We also don’t get to carry them over from year to year. You are truly blessed, so yes, take those sick days to rest when needed! ❤
@ Kentucky, but to be fair I do not teach for the public school system. I teach in a private Christian school. I was just dumbfounded when I heard how many days you get! 😂 I didn’t think any teachers got that many sick days. That’s amazing! We get 3 personal days and 7 sick days a year with no carryover.
Also what consequences do you use in your classroom like running instead of walking in the hallway ? What consequence would you use for that? Please answer
First time I’d have them go back and walk again. If it kept happening, they’d complete a think sheet to reflect on their behavior and what they should have done instead.
I know it’s not exactly the same, but I would think you could download the kindle app (or whatever similar app you might use to read your ebooks) onto your phone or laptop, and read them there.
I have what’s called a Libby app for my public libraries. You could read e-books or listen to audio books if you have something like that. I also agree with the above comment, with the Kindle app on your phone.
Awesome! Love the Castle Danger sweatshirt!😄 Love the content... I'm glad that you took a chill recovery day...... Go Vikings!

you don’t have them walk right next to you or you don’t hold their hand in the hallway ? Why don’t you do that? Please answer
@ because they are third graders and need to learn to follow expectations on their own.

I can’t do it on my phone! I mean I can, it’s just too small for my liking!
