Every Car In 'Fast & Furious' Series Explained By The Guy Who Built Them | WIRED
Can we please get a 3 hour video with this guy getting into detail about all these cars? He literally says about 2 sentences about each car.
I agree, also what about Sean's Monte Carlo????
They should have let him describe every single major car
Check out Craig Lieberman's youtube channel. He's the one that actually gathered the cars for the movies.
@@Jeremy-Biggers Ikr? He said he was behind the cars but the Supra and the R34 were actually Craig's personal cars!
@@jgbalves I think this guy was the one that designed the look of the cars for the movies and likely built the replicas
After the third movie it was never about cars anymore
It was literally never about cars. Cars are always important characters and the main setting of the film, but it's always been about heists and organized crime.
It was about both hence the name Fast AND Furious. But these days they don't even care about the "fast" all they care about is being furious enough to earn the paycheck.
No, they're not. Everything they do in these movies is in cars. It's all car related. Don't be a moron.
what are they doing in cars again? oh right HEISTS. They're doing heists in cars. They're pulling off furious crimes in fast vehicles... Fast & Furious.
I wander if fast and furious started with hella flush
he's not going to tell us how he fit a 20 speed manual transmission inside these cars
nestor uribe maybe you should race sometimes, then you'll know how many times you have to shift up/down just for one lap, fuck PRNDL
Chloe Flowers can you tell me which scene?
wan badri dude it was a joke chill
Took me a minute, but I got it.
MONICAAAAAAAAA, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO
wan badri if u remember the race in f&f2 they shifted up like 20 times same with the race in f&f4
So you don't waste your time, every description:
Name of the vehicle, "it really fit the character," "it was a really cool car, "had a lot done to it." *Rinse and repeat*
Yeah, this video was a complete waste of time. He basically just listed all the cars and who drove them and hat was interjected with some horrible beat. What was the point? They should have done a load of 10 minute videos talking about each car properly.
Thank you
Yeah. total waste of time. I quit half way through. Misleading title also.... "By the guy who built them". Nope. If it was a video with the guys and girls who built these cars, the video would've been interesting. Come on.... we already know what car it is and who drove it. This is not what I came here for.
I'm sure he said alot more, but with editing I'm sure alot got cut..:/
If you want to hear actual things about the cars then go to craig liberman's channel
this guy has one of the best jobs in the world
Casco361 And imagine that paycheck
this guy is a god, a legend.
I want his job, none of the bureaucracy lol
TNXtdogg not his paycheck. but the budget paycheck allowing him free will to build and create whatever he wants
How did he not mention the twin turbo 350z in Tokyo drift.... but mentioned twinkies ugly VW hulk van... wow
Ikr. How there he
to be fair that VW was an amazing build
Probably didn’t build it
it probably got edited out. He seems like he wants to talk so much more about the cars.
Those kind of ugly vans are huge in Japan.
But what about the fact that Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines.
LoL
I can't lose again.
You sir win the comment section, easily best comment! :D
And T66 TURBOS WITH NOS
And t64 turbos
"the gtr, yeah Brian drove a gtr. It was good"
*Goes to next car*
That's because Paul owned and built it
Crab Paul did not own/purchase the car but he did drive it for 2 months, the car was later purchased by Craig Lieberman
@@abrahamcruz2200 wrong the skyline gtr is actually the Craig car ..
@@wellamo6557nope
When he actually talked about the cars, for those ten seconds or less, I'm free.
Agreed, and I don't even like cars, I'm more of an airplane guy.
You're not free
Now you owe him a 10 second car
Could you guys PLEASE release a fuller version where he explains the cars fully? Right now you can tell A LOT is edited out to keep the video short. He talks for like 20 secs then cuts off to the next car. Some times hes in the middle of a sentence.....
TypeR1911 I'd be willing to pay for an hour for that
xr7fan hahah thats awesome!
see, thats why I want the full version. Im curious about the behind the scenes facts about the cars and interesting stories or things that these cars went thru. the things that arent already on google. Like how learning Michelle rodriguez really hated her Jensen Interceptor.
i read on an s2000 forum that a shop employee/owner(?) lent his fully modded show-car s2000 to the movie people and vin diesel wound up crashing and wrecking it.
anyone else ever hear about that? i remember because they were selling t-shirts that said "vin diesel wrecked my car" or something like that, and the proceeds would help the guy recoup some funds from his now wrecked showcar.
Especially the blue r34, I'm like wait he's still talking about it
the s2 from the first movie? if so i beleive rj devera lent them his personal s2 for the movie
I think Tokyo drift is such an underrated movie.
It always seems to be everyone's most hated out of the originals but it's always been my favorite
Loved when Dom showed up for a race at the end
It's my favorite too, but my friends hate it 'cause Dom doesn't appear til the end. And I hate that Dom showed up, it felt so unnecessary...
Drift? What's drift?
It was definitely my favorite.
Video title: "F&F cars explained"
Actual video: "These are really cool cars."
Seems like they told him "sum up the car in 20 seconds." I'm sure he could talk about them for hours, but they corralled him for WIRED. They should do a longer, uncut version, for us car nerds.
Zack Klapman yeah. WIRED do a uncut video
Zack Klapman Hi Zack!
Zack Klapman Series of videos where he talks about each car individually
can we get an uncut version of this interview? seems like lots of it was cut short.
YAAAAAASSSSS
@WIRED please do what this man said
Full version on netflix, 1.5 hours
@@eksine i cant tell if you're being sarcastic or not...
What about Brian's sweet ass mini van?
😂💀
Dylan Ortiz oh yeah the Chrysler
Dylan Ortiz Hell yeah best car in the world!!! lol
HE HAS A FAMILY 😭😭
Dylan Ortiz dangit they forgot it
He doesn't even talk about the cars, he just says "and this car. And that car." I want specs
Look up Craig Lieberman. He has 10 minute video on each car
Legend says this guy test drove all those cars, granny shifting and not double-clutching like you should.
And he blew the welds on the intake.
irit8r Now they need rip apart the block, and replace the piston rings he fried.
irit8r then he said, ask a racer, any racer. it don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. winnings winning.
Almost had me?!? You never had me, you never had your car.
cops cops cops!
i have a question. how difficult was it to get a gearbox with 20 gears in it in all the cars?
Dr Earnhardt why tf are you Dr Earnhardt? 😂
Good question though...
It's actually something called shifting....you don't always shift up
Cuz you shift down on straights ? Wooaw you must be good
yes. you shift down on straights but i see what you are saying lol
So when is he gonna build the rocket ship for Fast & Furious 15?
JACK WHITE He already did, it's in storage until the time comes lol
They are only going up to Fast 10
best comment
JACK WHITE I SAW THAT PHOTO
JACK WHITE you mean the one where they are going to launch them to mars to save the planet from destruction using subarus? lol
I think Tokyo Drift was my favorite movie.
Although the main character is kinda dull, the story had its own vibe and style. The music, the car themes and even the race courses.
It reminded me of Midnight Club or Need For Speed Carbon.
I love it all to be honest.
And the TobyMac song.
Just my opinion but the way he drove that Eclipse in the first one, He's lucky he didn't blow the welds on the intake.
ChrisBHP But, probably went threw tons of CV's.. lmao
Yeah, it's a good job that he only fried the piston rings.
ChrisBHP
the floorpan on a monocoque
I missed the point where he explained the cars. I came expecting to know which model was the car based on, engine, upgrades...what a letdown!
Wait you wanted to know on which model the cars were based on? On which model is the Skyline R34 based on? I think it's based on the Porsche 911.
If you want to know everything about those cars , search for craiglieberman_42 on Instagram, he was the technical director of the first two movies and the actual original owner of the Supra and skyline. He also has a book where he explains a lot of the franchise .....
U can tell this guy is a muscle car fan
JohnnyTheOG Gunn that's exactly what I was saying every time he mentioned muscle cars he said it was his favorite or one of his favorite lol I peeped that too
No shitt he drives a 68 Chevelle
that explains why the other cars are so fucking cheesy
Dalton Bedore the riced eclipse lol today was an eclipse
That's why he keeps calling a Challenger a charger right
Leon’s R33, DKs 350z Ludacris NSX, man so many cars not talked about! 🤯
rolando e. limon Leon?
That’s ok, for the cars mentioned, he doesn’t say anything either.
The black civics
Okay what about the Mustang Saleen that got swallowed by the big rig?
Craig Lieberman actually has a video where he explains that the car that got crushed was a base model Mustang with cosmetic mods to make it look like a Saleen. They only used one real Saleen for the closeups
"Fast and Furious' build guy says 3 words about every franchise car"
And apparently thinks a Dodge 'Cuda was the most popular cars of the 70's in 'merica, Not the Mustang or Camaro or Corvette...
@@mikenormandy9250 All boomers are stupid like this. there were many popular 70s muscle cars and the cuda was nowhere near it. the cuda looked cool but handled like a locomotive.
What about the civics... litterally every kid tried to drive under an 18wheeler
what about the civics x2
@@josep211080 ye wtf? where are the civics?

I did that all the time in the nfs games that allowed it lol
Craig liberman: alot of these cars were just Hollywood bullcrap with a reverse wheelie bar to make it look like dom pulls a burnout an a wheelie at the same time
Dennis McCarthy: that car really fits the character
And thats why Dennis McCartny is full of crap. He has build about 40% of the stunt cars... nothing more...
how tf did they completely skip the 350z in tokyo drift?????
I know right that was DK's signature car too. Guess he didn't build it?
One of the best cars in Tokyo drift. But they put the pos hulk van instead.
Ikr 😒. I have a 350z and when they skip the 350z I get upset.
I was thinking the exact same thing
yeah wtf? didn’t DK’s black 350z stole the show? and instead they explained that hulk van
That model RX-7 is just one of the most beautiful cars of its time. Still looks amazing. Love the lines and flow. Supra awesome too and others but I’d love to have a same year RX-7 as a weekender.
I feel like that RX7 just looked ahead of its time!
@@ssjwes I respect your opinion but the veilside rx-7 is one of the most hideous looking rx-7 FD kit.
Agreed. I'm completely uninterested in cars, especially sport cars, and dk why I'm here but that Mazda is beautiful.
It's the Veilside body package. It's barely a performance package
Agreed recall seeing this car locally each day and was like what is it ....rocket vehicle ...fit the Role of the first film ..perfect .....
I love how the cars are made to match their drivers and how they all are different and just how great and unique they are to each person. It’s a great little detail to add to the movie!
The fact that Hector is gonna be running three Honda Civics with Spoon engines. On top of that, he just came into Harry'sm and ordered three T66 turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust.
Nice copy and paste comment
Motec doesn’t even make exhaust I don’t think
Yawn
the black hondas used in the truck heists. yeah those were wet
true

JMC Beats the 99' Civics were so clean, sucks they weren't mentioned in this video
Those are Civics, makes it instantly not worth mentioning
XxCreeperKillxX till they reused them in 2f2f and ruined them.
Are you kidding me. Where's the 350z? You show the hulk car which had like 20 seconds on screen time but not the main rivals car??
CNG (109) Same with Jesse's Jetta..
CNG (109) did you even read the title
Dylantuning1995 thank god he didnt talk about that vag shit
luke france "Every Car"
Jesse's Jettta? You mean the one with the fake brake rotors? I guess that one was too embarassing to even mention. The Monte Carlo from Tokyo Dfrit was also pretty cool and didn't get mentioned.
You forgot the gold supra, all the civics, rx8, the f bomb,350z,Hans lfa, the Jetta, etc
Griffin Mackenzie 370z ***
David Freiburger would be proud of you.
What about the 71 Monte Carlo?
I love this guy cause you can tell he actually loves cars. These movies pretty much raised me to start working on cars myself
I love how Tokyo Drift actually had some really customly built cars for the movie. Was really the last Fast that I got into.
That RB26 Mustang was so sick, and I remember it getting so much hate, which made it even better hahah.
That mustang was payback for every LS swapped rx7 out there
Хозе Гонзалез hahahaha trueeee
That Mustang was blasphemy. You just don't do such a thing to a classic. That's American history. You don't just don't rape American history like that.
You can, and he did.
fuck history
The fact they used Walkers personal the MK2 Supra for the end scene was so cool.
MK4*
The MK4 was so cool in the forth movie. RIP Han
greg spencer didn't know the Celica Supra was in FF.
it wasnt modified either from what i hear
It also has the symbolic meaning. Celica Supra can be translated as "Above Heaven" or "ascending to heaven"
personally offended they left out the veilside 350z lol
I absolutely love that car. Judging by the rest of the comments here, I am also surprised how he was able to miss out one of the most popular cars of all time within the franchise. I hope WIRED make a part two with him. That 350z is eye candy and a machine.
Same! SO DISAPPOINTED! That 350z was so sexy D: I would love to have one irl.
Which car is that? in which movie scene and who drives it?
Victor Escalante the 350z is DK's car in tokyo drift. looks very similar to the car in my profile picture but with a body kit
Andrew Thomas im hurt too because i own a 350z lol
Craig: talks for hours about the car details.
This dude: "Uh... it's another car"
why would they mention that hideous hulk vw and not the jetta?
Jetta is the most underrated car in the series by far
Allan Jørgensen That and the yellow R33, didn't get much air time but I always liked it.
The R33 was a actual drag car at the time called ''Bigbear'' (I think) and when the USA went to shits when it comes to Skylines, it was confiscated from the owner and crushed, because it had been registered illegaly, the company that did it faked a lot of documents.
Nvm, it was ''Big Bird''
He's talking about cars he built , the Jetta was not built by him , hence why he didn't talk about it.
He's lucky that 100 shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake
420 Blaze Master nah 100 shot ain’t bad I think most cars can take 100 shot not for like all the time but a mile or so 😂😂
420 Blaze Master I dvvc c

He doesn't have the right to talk about the first three movies it was Craig Lieberman
Fact

He came and messed it all up lol
Trife not really in my opinion they both made amazing cars
I just thought about that
>"Dodge 'Cuda"
You'd think their lead car designer would know that a 'Cuda is a Plymouth.
Dodge Plymouth Chrysler it's all essentially the same
But it's not. a PLYMOUTH 'Cuda is not the same as a DODGE Challenger. They don't even have the same wheelbase length.
MrCaCaaaaaaaaa dodge makes the cuda under a different facade lmao
Way to be a car apologist. Now I know how feminists feel when they say 'man-splain' except you're carsplaining to some guy who knows more than you.
Maybe different car, but all the same company. Like how Lincoln is to Ford or Acura to Honda. Don't matter much, parts are virtually interchangeable.
>talks about FF1
>doesn't say a word about Civics
also: >Mia's Integra
>Not Jessie's Jetta.
rubbers3 you can find 15 minute long videos just on the jetta
I know I can. And? He says he's gonna talk about major cars, and mentions Mia's car, that was in, how many? One scene? Whilst Jetta was a rather major plot that caused Jessie to be killed and the Dom v Brian race in the end. I'm not saying "I want to know more about the Jetta", I'm saying Jetta was more important than Integra to the plot.
Thats because civics are slow, insignificant, pieces of garbage... one of the slowest cars in the world... He realized that is was a mistake to feature the civic in a movie with the word "fast" in the title.
Voodoo8648 civics aren't slow any car can be fast bud

Shard Gamer he could still get angry without being able to fight
They cut some scenes out of Tokyo with him flipping out. It's on YT somewhere. Would've defined his caracter a bit more if they left it in.
Gotta give this guy props for having great taste. The car choices made the franchise, and he defiantly made the right ones. Like forcing the Jensen Interceptor, and I always thought thats a fantastic choice. The British muscle car.
"check out Fate of The Furious, you're gonna love it"
Its like delivering that line killed a huge part of him...you can see it in his eyes
You know the unedited is 36 hours of car stats talk
I'd pay to watch that
I grew up watching fast and furious so I wish they would've just kept it about the cars and not turned it into one big cg dodge ad like the last few movies were, just my opinion tho
I grow up in the car scene / street racing scene I wish they would have kept it about the cars and street racing still
These are movies about people who fetishize cars. The finale of F8 gave every main character a vehicle that fit their individual styles.
Tokyo drift was all about 350zs, and seen a bunch of 370zs in other movies? What happen to those?
That was my favourite car in the movie! Which made me buy one

details that even people who didn't watch the movies would know. I don't know if I smoked too much weed but, I'm mindblown.
You quite likely smoked too much weed (pass the twinkies) but you are not wrong about his 'explanation' of 'every car in 'F&F'.
I'd be lying if I said a tear didn't come out during the scene where Brian and Dom split off
I cried a little in theaters myself. Along with a lot of car guys

This guy put more thought into the cars than the writing team did for the story.
You can tell that he loves his job, like, who wouldn't want to build cool cars and just do almost ANYTHING that you want, imagine being a kid with legos... the legos for him are the cars.
Sucks that he doesn't know the origin of most of the cars on screen in the first few movies, that inspired the character cars we have now.
The Eclipse was a show car - which was an RS (non-turbo) with a turbonetics turbo kit - owned by some Asian dude and was sponsored by several companies at the time: Toyo Tires, Meguiars, Rain X, MA Audio to name a few
The Charger was an actual 900hp street king owned by some dude in his 50's (now 60s) - if you look hard enough, there are some street racing videos of this car demolishing just about every car. Yes, it sounds exactly like you hear it in the movies
Dom's FD RX-7 - Does in-fact have a 3-Rotor engine. if you slow down the engine CGI you can count 3 spinning rotors to reflect the real-life car. And yes, the sounds of the car when it pulls up to the meeting spot before the race, and when Dom parks in the parking garage, is real. Now it currently sits in the corner of a shop getting restored because after a long amount of years being in shows, the body kit has cracked, paint has dents and scratches, the graphics were removed and the engine was never actually tuned to do anything except drive at 10mph from the trailer to a parking spot. Still has the same Andrew Racing F wheels that are getting refinished too - these are as expensive as any HRE, and heavy as fuck too.
The Yellow R33 Skyline GTR - It was named "Big Bird" and was a very controversial car at the time because of importing Skylines at the time was very questionable, no small part to Motorex committing fraud. Unfortunately, Big Bird was seized by ICE and crushed - and afterwards following a pretty long legal battle, the federal government grandfathered every Skyline GTR that entered the US via Motorex, as exempt for meeting any importation law. Too bad Big Bird didn't survive because it was heavily covered in Magazines and video magazines like Option video, it was a very well known car.
Letty's 240SX - not much is known about the car, but some have said the 240 was one of the first to have the SR motor swap in the east coast. Some have said it was just a very basic 240SX show car and just had a turbo kit installed and that was it.
Supra - one of the only cars the production company actually built from scratch. The "hero" car started off as an N/A MKIV Supra, and was given a Greddy T78 turbo kit. Really Lazy turbo compared to what we have now - but it was an off-the-shelf 800hp capable turbo kit that had an original MSRP of $12k without an ECU. I only remember this, because I was considering buying this exact kit for me and my dads Supra project, but found that HKS had a better twin-turbo kit for the same money, but came with an ECU as well. Cant remember who owns this orange Supra but it has been seen on and off for sale every couple years.
Most of the cars in 2Fast2Furious was made by the production company - and the movie was overall terrible for it. You can thank John Singleton for that disaster. The GTR at the time, was only in the movie because it was owned by some dude who lived in Miami - importation laws in Miami are a "grey area" which is why you still see a lot of cars being imported that are younger than 25 years but do not go through the federalization process of crash testing, emissions testing, etc etc.
Tokyo Drift was one of the last movies where privately owned cars were still 'scouted' for. Namely the Veilside RX-7. The real car, was a 600hp 13B-REW with a GReddy T78 turbo kit, while its an old turbo it still makes a ton of power. And the sound in the movie is exactly what the car sounds like. That's what a 2-rotor sounds like with some minor port work. No, it does not have a bridge-port, so please ignore some of the rotards that say otherwise.
The RWD Evo was a car owned by APR, the company widely known at the time in making a lot of aero products. Not to be confused by "APC" which sold nothing but bullshit "euro tails" and other ricer crap.
The 350Z was also built by Veilside, and used a Greddy Twin turbo kit.
A lot of the cars drifting in Tokyo drift were legitimate privately owned cars of local drifters of Japan, and in the mountain drifting scene, if you look, the Signal Auto drift team is shown sliding around.
After that, the movies became quite corporatized when people realized it was a franchise worth continuing. This when all of the cars in the movies ended up built by the production company.
Not to take away anything from the guy being interviewed, I'm sure he knows a lot and was there since the beginning, however the editing of the video takes away A LOT from where these cars actually came from.
rotor13 do you know anything on Jesse's jetta and the the bad guy's s2k
rotor13 Really? This guy, a picture car coordinator, that handpicked many cars of the franchise, does not know the origin of most cars in the first few movies?.....
the black s2000 had a vielside kit and wing, some vinyl graphics, a couple bolt-ons and not much more because it was a new-er car at the time and not a lot of parts were available at the time. i posted a comment up top somewhere about an s2000 in one of the later movies, that some guy lent to the movie, and vindielsel wound up wrecking it, and the guy was left assed out.
rotor13 the owner of the original supra and r34 is someone called Craig Lieberman. you can see it on insta
Daily Drivers i think the jetta was sold at a barret jackson or mecum auction not too long ago
You guys should check out Craig Lieberman on RUclips, he was the actual tech Advisor for the films and spends a lot more time talking about each car

Kinda sad he missed the SVT pickup truck, that thing is genuinely quick stock.
Cheeky Raccoon You're talking about the red truck Brian was driving in the 1st movie?
TNXtdogg yes, the ford lightning svt
Cheeky Raccoon and Sean's Monte Carlo
Or Jesse's jetta
it's a shame what happened to this franchise. It went from actual racing and car culture to mission impossible with cars. I feel like the writers just huff glue and throw out suggestions for what to do next. And the sad part is everyone still spends money to see these movies that make no sense anymore.
Alan Torres
Oh cmon, it's still great.
It's good, but not great imo. After F4 they went so far off the track, I still only watch the vids for the cars and characters and nostalgia, not for their story or action at all. I couldn't care less about a Russian nuclear submarine lol. Fast5 had some very great moments and compared to the latest movies it was really down to earth xD And still mainly about cars and not stupid crazy heists.
Alan Torres As a business you need to stick to your roots, but also adapt and evolve. Else, there wouldn't be any FF today. They are all amazing movies! And there are very few movie series with so many sequels, and for very good reason.
Dont waste your time on this video, just watch craig lieberman
Exactly
Love your classic thom yorke display picture

Yeah, I agree!
Also, I’m pretty sure Han’s RX7 was not over 600hp? Barely had half of that.
In fact, I swear I saw a video yeah they made mods to that car in which it was SLOWER 0-60 time than factory stock! Wtf hahaha
"It makes sense" This the funniest thing anybody has ever said about this franchise
underrated humour
My very first car, 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse rs. My second car, 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse gs.
My third car, Mitsubishi Eclipse1998 gs and my fourth car Mitsubishi Eclipse1999 GT.
Then i became a father and had to switch to a Silverado witch i love, but man i love and miss those cars, hard to find this days but I'm sure i will have my fifth and last one some day.
Cheers to everyone reading this.
You can purchase vehicles without selling your old one. I made the mistake of selling my first car. Have not sold another once since.
You bought a Silverado???! So you basically you became a mom not a father 😂😂😂
My first car is a 1997 Eclipes and I’m still holding on to it as you can see in my profile pic , i currently added a small turbo , and I’m still going to hold on to this car forever
u should look up the super van on the hooligan's channel
I can understanding a need to sell cars - storage, finance etc, but a good garage size is four: one for her (family wagon) and three for you, at least one of which is fully equipped to deal with day-to-day life. She won't care if thats a '67 Plymouth wagon with a big-block and drag radials so long as you can fit a kid seat in the back!
The beat between the clips is annoying as fuck and way too loud.
Nero finally someone noticed this shit
i agree
finally someone else thinking this like my ears holy fuck
Nero lol. not really for me, Im focused on the essence of the video.
Had to turn my sub way down for those bits
Craig Lieberman was the owner and main car guy but this guy invented the mick rig, which revolutionized all motion picture car filming.
That GNX gives me the damn chills
makes me want to clone my 87 regal to a gnx
thyringmaster. DO IT !!!
After the cars of the first 3 are mentioned, none of the cars in the rest of the video seemed all that interesting. Compared to the first 3 movies of course. Cause those were the movies where the CARS shined and were in the spotlight. None of the cars in the rest of the video come even close to the ones that were in the first 3.
Zhin The Tyrant lmao it wasn't really about cars it's been about heist the whole time they just used cars to catch people's attention
9:03 lol earn that paycheck Tyrese
dead pool ding!
Ding!
"They turned the cop cars into the vault heist vehicles."
So they took a 2011 Charger, and turned it into a 2010? They have completely different rear fascia designs! This has always bothered me about Fast Five.
🤔can you say this guy has the best job ever...😁
Patrick Martin ...without a dought
"So tell me is it Gallo 12 or Gallo 24"
Jericho Pineda
Ahahahahaha 😁
"Umm 24"
GD cryptic "i didnt know pizza places made motors LOL"
Thank You for this in the comment section.
Hahaha
Their was this brilliant time when Fast and Furious franchise was about cars and street racing instead of insane action and typical nuclear launch code bullshit
Usama Tariq +
Usama Tariq exactly
It was never about street racing it was about a cop trying to get undercover into a illegal group but whatever you say
Sefacile LlaTerreur it actually was about street racing? yea that also tied into the plot but the OVERALL theme of the movie was street racing
Christopher Robin well there was 1 street race in f8 if thats gonna make you happy and it's not like they are gonna do street racing for 8 movies. Just accept what fast and furious is really about and move on pls
The Jensen 1971 Interceptor is like my dreamcar, how can Michelle not like that 😍😳
Fate wasn't out yet and they wanted to keep the murci as a semi surprise moment.
Cars after Tokyo Drift are so uninteresting and boring
the subarus are the best cars
Because they’re not super edgy with bright colors and decals?
I suppose.
That’s true
BajaDeezNutz he's probably got the most riced up civic irl so dont worrry
Winter Wolf- lol
6:18 The video ends :) Thank you. Now time to go watch other videos
B
100000% true.. 1,2,3 the best, fast and furious 2 is the most nostalgic for me.
Yes
Agree
Really cool to get some behind the scenes on these cars, even if it's just a little tease of each car. It's absolutely impossible to overstate how important the F&F movies have been to the shaping of the automotive industry over the year especially in the early 2000s. What a great gig for a car guy, getting to build cool toys to show off and destroy with a nearly unlimited budget!
Its craig libermann that is behind all the cars of the first 2 movies and knows everything he telles about it on his youtube channel
The Volkswagen Jetta?
Yea, i wanted to hear about it too :D
The one with no brakes?
Peqqy I wonder if that's why Jesse didn't stop when he lost to Johnny Tran at race wars😂
Full version on netflix, 1.5 hours
Wish he would’ve talked more about the r34 in the 2nd movie. My favorite car in the series.
I can tell you how... a boat.
the r34 in the second movie was Paul walkers personal car
no it wasnt
Tyler Savage it was never his, he got to drive it for a few months.... but he almost bought it before craig lieberman (car technical advisor in the first two movies)
Well
Its a skyline
Its silver and blue
Errm its riced
But still somewhat fast
Annddddddd its well
Got nitrous?
Is it just me or did the transition music between cars get annoying abut 4 minutes in?
Yeah its annoying.
Dennis is responsible for MOST of these. Not all of them. Craig Lieberman helped get a lot of the first 3 movies cars.
"changed it form AWD to RWD maybe 20% RWD" what the fuck is he trying to say?
RWD bias was increased to cause the car to oversteer
STI555 but he said changed to rwd, weird, must be what you said that he meant tho
Charlie Ward works well for drifting. Front wheels pull you out of the skid.
That's how they are able to shift 20 times
A bunch of what he said didn't make sense. Like when he said another Subaru, unless he thinks Subaru makes the Evo I don't know what the heck he was talking about.
6:48 he said 'another Subaru for Brian' I don't remember any other Subarus
I think it was on furious 7
He said they wrecked a bunch of them.
"Hi I'm Dennis McCarthy, you can thank me for the decreasing amount of Charger's as I keep destroying them"
101 owlman *cough* dukesofhazzardkilledmore *cough*
@@KMakoENVtuber Yeah they did.
I think it's the same charger in each movie. Dom stands in front of the rubble and said "show me". ##runawayohsh&t
@@ronaldjensen8614 Yeah it is the same Charger, even though he crashed it into a wall at 100kph and blew up in 4
It fixes itself like Christine did. ##58plymouthfury
A documentary should be done about these cars.
11:10 the Cuda was a Plymouth, and the Dodge embodiment of that platform at the time (1970, when it was most commonly referred to as a “Cuda”) was the Dodge Challenger (A/K/A the “E-Platform”)
2:16 The thing that always bugged my about the spider was the Subaru engine sounds that were dubbed in. Who's idea was that?!
KrazeeCain wow how the fuck i havent noticed that?
They did the same thing with the Grand National. A few shots had clearly dubbed V8 sounds and other shots you could tell it was the actual V6. That always aggravated me.
Easiest way to tell was the Turbo whine
1:05 Also RX-7 sounds like Skyline instead of rotary.
VX97 wrong
This guy made my childhood thankyou.
11:09 "The dodge cuda" wait what!?
Plymouth: am I a joke to you? 😢
If a new one is built, it'll probably be a Dodge or SRT
