I’m kind of ashamed to admit that, when the pod first started, I was sort of surprised at how good an interviewer Trish is. She asks such great questions, managing to dig deep but in a way that feels like a genuine, respectful interest rather than intrusively fishing for tea in an effort to get a moment that attracts media attention. Trish has such a welcoming, friendly vibe and obviously does her research so she can ask the best questions that we want the answers to; it’s so annoying when I see podcast hosts that clearly barely have any idea who their guest is except for the notes given to them by a producer before the show! Trish manages to do it in a way that doesn’t feel like a “serious” interview, it feels like a casual conversation between friends, while still asking great questions and getting interesting answers that hold my attention. I’m kind of rambling now, I always end up writing essays cos I can not make a point succinctly! I just wanted to give Trisha her due credit, full props to her and shame on me for not expecting her to be so skilled cos she’s killing it!
yesss it’s so funny because trisha’s brain will literally move so fast from topic to topic but when she’s in interview mode she circles it back so well when they start to lose the topic!
@@mayaszymanski8294 it’s funny you say that cos straight after finishing this video, I watched the newest episode of Jeff FM and the contrast was glaring. Don’t get me wrong, I love Jeff and always enjoy the show, and they obviously have a very different approach to talking to guests, but this episode was quite hectic and I kept noticing that they’d get distracted by something the guest said and go off on a tangent without ever circling back to the point of what he was originally saying or finishing the story he was telling! Maybe I wouldn’t have been so aware of it had I not just watched this and had Trisha’s podcasting style at the front of my mind, but I did and I was lol and it got a little frustrating, although they did settle down somewhat as it went on.

I love hearing her talking about Gaga. I've been a Monster pretty much since poker face. She pretty much raised me and taught me how important it is to be kind to everyone and her craft is so her. Like I couldn't see her doing anything else. And seeing Lux talking about her and how important she is to her is really amazing. ❤❤

i wasn’t the biggest fan of luxx on her season but as someone who’s been a fan of drag race since middle school i love how big of a fan of drag she is. not a lot of queens really love the show as much as luxx does, she knows every reference ! she truly is one of us
Totally agree! I really do love how confident Luxx is, but I think maybe part of why people didn’t warm up to her is that confidence really borders on arrogance to where it’s a little bit off putting 😕 but I love how much she truly loves drag race and drag in general.

Love the set. Moses does a great job. The sparkling crystal teddy is both, cute and looks great on camera. I think, just to throw it up a notch to make it look more visually clean, I would tape closed the hanging paper decos, cut off the paper tails, use a hole punch and string them onto clear fishing line. Just a former visual merchandiser thinking out loud, through the keyboard.

I don’t take offense to the “fishy Queen” because I know it’s not coming from a bad place. They use it when they are feeling beautiful; intention is everything. PSA: yes some odor is natural but often time the “fishy” scent is a sign of our gut microbiome being out of whack. Probiotics and a dramatic reduction in refined carbs and sugars helps A TON. B/c you’re starving the bad bacteria/yeast. Yes this includes pasta 😭 I know bc I’m just like you Trish - love my pasta!! But if you replace simple carbs w/ complex carbs, refined sugars w/ fruits and add probiotics to create a healthy flora - makes a WORLD of a diff! Not only in confidence “down there” but in mental clarity, mood, everything!
