We used to camp up on top of Babyshoe Ridge above Council Lake (West of Takhlakh Lake). I remember late one night on top looking out of my tent and seeing a lightning strorm light up the silhouette of Mt. Hood in the distance to the South. I can still see that picture in my mind. We would also hike the trail from the top down to Council Lake and someone left a boat behind that others could use. So we would paddle out to the other side and explore. Wife, dog and I backpacked way up high near the summit from Killen Creek trail head. Mt. Adams and Mt. Jefferson were our favorites because of the remoteness. Although Three Creeks Lake and the Three Sisters are also a favorite.

We were there June 10th and 11th. The hike was so fun! It's better to go later in the summer after the millions of mosquitos are gone. Lol. Have a great time!

Wow thats amazing!! Definitely some beautiful places to go to by Mount Adams. Sounds like some great memories. We have the best memories up there too.
We love it out there. Haven’t camped there yet but checked t out last year.
Try to camp early or late in the year as possible to avoid mosquitos and tons people. Lol We love it out there too.
Love your videos - all places we plan to explore. Would be helpful to know when you visited to know when to expect that slushy snow.

Nice...but you should each have Enduro motorcycles. I spent many days exploring road 23/25.
Oh that would be fun!! Love driving those roads.
