Great thank you for posting!! Just a question here ,,when you got to the creeks each time were there visible signs of where the path continued on the other side? Like could you tell where you were to continue before you crossed? Thank you in advance. Oh also, how long did this hike take you just out of curiosity. Thank you again.

Yes we could tell where the trail lead after all of the creek crossings. 👍 Our moving time was 3 hours 48 minutes. Total was 4 hours 17 minutes. Such a great hike. Highly recommed downloading the trail on the All Trails App. Thanks for watching!!

I love Beverly Beach SP. Such a historic old campground. Suggestion for ya. Where the fabric spans between outriggers on your awning, clip on a length of weighted chain to pull the fabric down slightly to force the water off the awning at low points. Have the chains feed the rain into buckets that have a drain hose that runs away from camp. Call these "rain chains". Sure it is more crap to take with ya, but you can get cheap buckets from the Dollar Tree, and enough chain and drain hose to do all the panels pretty cheap. You can store the chains in one bucket and stack the buckets together for a smaller storage footprint. For the drain hose, I would get a few 10 speed rubber inner tubes and cut them in half and figure out a way to attach them to the bucket so they curve and drain the water away from camp. The would soft and roll up small to also fit in the bucket with the chains. You may have to loosen the awning strap a tad to get the desired slope off the panel with some practice.

Spend around 45k for this setup to experience outdoors. I'm not sure if it's worth it. Even if you are an outdoor guru and if so you'd walk in the rain exposed and live and breathe in the wild instead of hunkering inside a metal box, a $2000 giant rain cover, etc.

We heard little kids playing where there were no kids. We were just past the cemetery. We heard voices at the mine shaft too. We got it all on digital recorder. Your chapter list has Wilkeson spelled as Wilson. Wilkerson and Carbonado are hardly ghost towns. They are both very much alive and lived in.
