The crash site where Richie Valens, along with Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper is back in Iowa. If you go to Lubbock, Texas for Buddy Holly’s grave at the Public Cemetery there you would have an easier time finding Mac Davis’ grave as it has a large tombstone there and two marble benches there at his grave. Buddy’s I have seen is closer to the entrance of the cemetery as I have seen online and at the Find A Grave site. Big Bopper is also in Texas but not at the same place as Buddy Holly.

I plan to stop by there myself in a couple of days and visit my Auntie. Did you happen to notice that the diminutive Cairn Terrier which Philo Vance had accompanying him was none other than Terry, aka Toto from "The Wizard of Oz"? (Scout's honor, although I never was a Scout!)

The unmarked Graves make me sad, but I can understand if they don't want it marked
