@@XarSir. Yeah I didn't expect Sirius to outright murder a child in front of an entire audience who she brainwashed into supporting her. Garf vs Reinhard was also pretty interesting, Garfiel was someone who definitely needed humbling and Reinhard certainly did that.

They cooked. Good quality for an episode that’s not only 90 minutes, but adapting the slower parts. They’re obviously managing the episodes very well and I have no worries now. We’ve also been teased (from leakers) that some big names are doing sakuga for the later episodes so I’m hyped

Love everything in this trailer from Quality of drawings, art direction, charater acting and dynamic backgrounds / beautiful handrawn backgrounds by bihou in genral which really gives you a sense of the land / cityscape. I think Felix film is responsible for the new amazing looking 3d backgrounds which makes them able to move the camera in way differently and follow the characters through the digital space in a way they couldn’t before with mostly hand drawn backgrounds in season 1 & 2. Couldnt be more hype for this season!
I, on the other hand, was f*cking surprised when I saw that Heinkel's VA is Kenjiro Tsuda. I didn't understand why such a big VA was being given such a small role.
Well, he will have a bigger role in later arcs, and he will probably have a redemption arc during them.
Well Tappei did say that if Subaru didn't exist, then Heinkel would be the protagonist
@bryangarcia5207 Really ? I'm surprised since Emilia is supposed to be the reason why he wrote the story of re:zero, so I don't know how he would include her with heinkel as the protagonist.

@@lehyplay6961 I think Tappei was saying that he’d like to write Heinkel as a protagonist, like Heinkel is (as a character) good material for one. It makes sense when you see a bit more into Heinkel’s mind, he’s kinda similar to Subaru in a few ways.
Notably it looks like they gave Elsa an updated character sheet too, despite her being dead

Asa i disagree heavily vol16 has important characterization that makes scenes later hit hard...and its the only dialogue heavy vol it shouldn't rushed quite the opposite.
Not to mention this is the only happy moments for next decade for re:zero lol

When I finally got to new content with vol 16 I enjoyed that so much. Seeing all the characters settled in after everything that went down in arc 4 and just seeing them all interact made it one of the most enjoyable volumes for me. Really surprised to hear him say that about it

They added side story content for Roswaal last season so I really hope they do it for the Astrea family this season. One, cuz Heinkel sucks but his whole story makes it more nuanced and interesting. Two, I need (forgor name) sword demon taken down a peg a bit since what he did to Reinhardt should be fully addressed. It sucks we see one at their worst and one at their best, and that isn’t as interesting to what’s actually going on.

I AM SO EXCITED FOR THIS! This season of Re:Zero will be the first season I've seen that I've read the Light Novel content of before the season so it will interesting having knowledge of what they change/cut. So far it's looking good.

it feels like re zero is getting a good spotlight finally. it was kinda surreal seeing big news media accounts tweeting about it. i’m only a four hour drive away from the la premiere but i don’t know if i should do it…
i would try and do it honestly if you’re able to, im trying to go as well but im like a 15 hour drive away. being around other re zero fans and experiencing the first a MONTH before japan even gets it is wild and really cool

@@JayeshBeradYeah this is a trailer for Episode 1 of the 3rd season. Furthermore assuming Arc 6 will be covered in a second cour it probably wont be shown until the end of Arc 5.
Why would they? Arc 5 alone is probably going to be like 15-18 episodes. I can’t think of pretty much any multi cour anime season that has shown footage from the second cour when the first hasn’t even started

"questionable content" in LN 16? I remember enjoying it quite a bit, did something weird happen or did you mean something else by that
From what I can tell based on his arc 7 videos Asaratha seems to heavily dislike any moments that don’t involve conflicts or battles. Those always end up being called or having bad pacing or something along those lines by/according to him.

Yeah I don’t understand what he meant by that either. I thoroughly loved that volume both times I read it. There’s lots of great character moments throughout and it’s a great way to setup the arc. Especially when you consider how little downtime of peace and quiet the characters will get after this
uh... no. it has nothign to do with no conflicts or battles. one of the arc 7 chapters i enjoyed the most is the campfire chapter. i mean the unwelcome addition to an obnoxious pedophile character, Lilliana who is still extremely controversial, and a big chunk of time being spent making unfunny jokes like about Subaru being a 'lolimancer'. that going on for 4 episodes straight woulda been like pepper spraying the casual audience. ive heard things are improved in the LN, but looking back at Vol 16 WN, it is far less enjoyable than I remembered

@@letsplaysaschagd9331 Yeah, you definitely confused Asa with someone else. His summareviews make it apparent that he's a big fan of the character interactions that stem as a result of conflict. Whenever he gets around to uploading the video that corresponds to the first volume of Arc 8, you may be surprised at just how much he has to say about the moments between Subaru and _those two_ characters. You know who they are, but I won't say it in a comment on an anime-only video.

in my opinion, doing it as one big episode is a lot easier to stomach for people than the same content but spread out over 4 weeks. it means that the hype for rezero will hit a high!
