Think of the directness of SET with the control and damping of solid-state. Pathos' patented and unique InPol technology allows the tube input stage to effectively drive your speakers (or your headphones) with no further amplification.
As Kevin says, the Pathos InPol Remix MkII is one of the coolest amplifiers on the market. Fully balanced, class A, low output impedance, and completely made in Italy. - Развлечения
What a fantastic review of an audio product. Love the fact that he refers to himself as a “gear head”. Many self professed audiophiles get upset if you challenge their knowledge or appreciation of music. Many often claim they are driven by the music, but in reality they are gear heads and should be honest about that.
Label should say “made from at least 90% imported components - Assembled in the USA”. Pathos is an Italian company.😉
That’s what is written on most food products.
(I recently bought a vacuum tube amplifier that was made in China. I opened the panel up to examine the soldering, assembly, lay out and component quality - absolutely sensational hand soldered and assembled. The unit Looked as good from the inside as it did from the outside)
Love, love, love Pathos. Came across them many times in the UK so nice to see they have solid representation here in the US
Kevin reminds me of me, 50years hobby and still mad for it!!
Pathos is gorgeous, for sure. Reminds me a little of old B&O. God how I wish they still made receivers and CD players and turntables. Thanks Kevin!
Good on you Kevin looks like a beautiful piece of kit 😎😁🎧
Hey Kevin. I have a Pathos Aurium Headphone amplifier. No bullshit. Pathos is the real deal. ❤
We love pathos!
Pathos style unique. Very cool
Kevin is an extraordinarily gifted fellow! Pathos makes great audio kit!
Thanks for a wonderful review Kevin. What are the tubes please?
I’m still smarting from missing out on a second hand Pathos Logos about a year ago 😢
Hi Kev we love your banter bro 😎from Northern Scotland
any idea of how this compares to the Mark I?
I love how you edit the best assembly in China part because of Primaluna.
hahaha yes exactly. Shitting on China in every video but had to edit for Primaluna.
Go SMSL & Topping !!!! fantasic sound & value - owned 20 pieces - all work fine
@@gbmwaz I don't doubt. I was just pointing out the obvious video edit.

Are you saying that you own a Pathos InPol Remix mkIi and that you like it a lot??
So if someone were looking at these or the Primaluna Evo 300 integrateds vs these (similar power in class A, both tube with remotes) what would the differences be in sound/operation with the stock tubes on the primaluna? I'm assuming the Evo has some warm up time when you turn it on. Would either or be a better fit for some Cornwall IV's?
Wow, me hung so low!!
One month break in? That’s what the return policy is. If the amp needs one month I would expect the maker to do that. For that money I expect the amp to work as intended out of the box.
I don't get this love for integrated amps. Add a tuner which nobody uses any more and, wait for it, you have a receiver and all the associated problems of a high power section located next to the low power section and I don't care how it is laid out. Give me separates and a couple of good interconnects and I'll be happy. As far as Chinese products go I've had good luck with them and terrible luck. All I can say is make sure a company dies warranty work in the US because I had a product that had to go back to China and it took 13 weeks to get back to me.
These are not made, or assembled in CH. 96% of the components are made in Italy for good or for bad. Like or not, like a Ferrari, they have the Italian character. Primaluna is another story.
Heco.90db.to 93db.check them out.
