I feel like this band is so special, when I tried to look for similar artists I discovered classic bluegrass, folk, country music, but nothing came close to the feeling of these guys.
She is a good bass player but if you have a three piece band and she was a huuuuuuuuge part of the feel of that band and shoot she was why I loved them now they have four or five piece band what happened
I saw Brown Bird open for Devil Makes Three in 2008. Santa Cruz, California. Such an incredible show. Amazing how she's now playing with Pete. They sound great with the new line up. Of course I love the OG line up but change is sometime part of the business.
First time I ever heard anyone reference Requiem for a dream! Great film. Also great band. Was gutted to miss you guy's when you were in Bristol. Hope you visit the UK again ❤✌️
I just want to say, I'm from NH, both sides of my family have been in Northern New England for centuries from the hills of VT to Northern ME... It is not a surprise at all that there's an Opioid problem up here, nor is it a new thing. Good music though.
What Guitar is Pete playing here? "The Loar" ? looks strikingly similar without the tone and volume dials or the more expensive guitar The Loar 309 is trying to mimic?
I think it's awesome that these guys are closing the show for the Punch Brothers in May at Red Rocks in Colorado. I am confused that these guys are the headliners? That is the scene here in Colorful Colorado. Nobody has a clue about musicianship.
I think it is time to change the group's name because " THE DEVIL MAKES THREE " doesn't MAKE sense anymore, the last music sounds like pop music, come on guys it doesn't sound Bluegrass by far away
Pete is such a genius song writer.Listen to his self titled albums, I love them all.

If you like this, MorganEve Swain (Bass) was also part of the band Brown Bird
Brown Bird was *amazing*! I love that Eve is with TDMT.

Who said they're bluegrass? Id say String Punk Rock. (J. Cash)
Whatever it is, it kicks ass and, keep it coming.
It's more like soulgrass americana to me. That said I like the 3 piece lineup more. But when they play live, the fiddle is a nice addition
Aww c mon someone boo this person. :) Personally i think they area great Punk Band. Love the rebel!
Cowpunk
@@jasonalvidrez719 they're bluegrass, but wayyyyy better
