Nicely done! What was most interesting to me was being surrounded by antiquity and history. And the feel of the town is that of a workman's town. Yes, part of the life of the town is tourism but as you said, it is not mobbed. It's an absolutely charming town.
This seems to be a very charming place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much!
It is charming, but in my opinion, not the first place to visit. If you only have a short time in Provence and you have to make tough decisions about what you can see, then make sure you see Bonnieux, Lacoste, Roussillon, and La Sourge.
No itinerary to speak of. I got up and went to the cafe everyday to write. Then we would head out around ten, choosing a new town each day. After ten days or so, we would revisit the towns we liked. Have fun
The ancient history museum was my favourite museum in Provence and the Unesco heritage church of Saint-Trophime is probably second only to Marseille cathedral in Provence albeit Provence isn't renowned for its grand cathedral. I thought the Alyscamps was very atmospheric.
I love this city ❤

Great video, may I ask how's driving in Arles? is it easy? how's parking?
I used google maps to get me to a parking area downtown. It was easy and not too much traffic.
Researching a trip to Provence now, do you have your daily itinerary listed anywhere? We too are staying in L'isle-sur-la-sorgue.

Was thinking between stopping by Nimes or Arles for lunch on the way to Provence
Arles was not a very interesting town. I would try Nimes.
