@@4PillarsMMA Keep it up man, people online are mean, especially when they can hide behind their anonymity. I started BJJ (again) myself about 2 months ago, looking forward to see your BJJ progress.
Slamming is the part that I was doing when I was standing up? Yes after I did it I felt like that probably isn’t normal so I made sure to mention that in the voice over
@@4PillarsMMA If you lift or opponent and then slam him or even just let go of him to fall by himself, while he is trying to submit/controlling you, that's illegal in nearly every bjj ruleset, because it can lead to serious brain damage or other injuries. In MMA its perfecly legal, as long as you dont pildrive your opponent into the ground. And even then most referees will not do anything against it, because it looks cool. Case in point: Namajunas vs Andrade.
Yes I can see why. After a month doing BJJ I am exciting to do more in the future but my body is broken. Can barely get out of bed and turn my neck. I def think these rules are very nessisary.
Gotta love his "special move" the magical white belt sweep lmao
Hah yeah, that was a good one. I use it now every time some one is standing up.
It's the white belt of sweeps 🤣
😅
Awesome!!! BJJ is incredibly rewarding, you’ll love it!!!!
Thank you! It will be a very long journey for sure
@2:33 actually not the worst idea, but this is why pressure and precision beats speed and timing in a lot of instances.
Thank you. I like your username!
If you're ever in Pittsburgh, come train!
Not this time of year, hah! Yes that would be fun in the future though.
Cool pass attempt, not bad for first-timing
Alex you might legit be the first compliment I have received on this channel 😂🙏🏼

Thank you sir. May you stay healthy and no injuries. 💪🏼
Ohhh boy, what video is that? What is the message?
That I am very lucky to have found this gym and excited to grow in my BJJ journey
Just so you know: slaming is illegal in nearly every ruleset and I would argue an absolute no go in training.
