Nothing better than a fresh tomato sandwich! Now a days it is made with chaffles but still good! NJ Beafsteak tomatoes are my favorite, best when picked fresh from the garden or from our local farms.

@@kimba3339 I have never put basil on my tomato sandwich, but I will try it! Chaffles are just a mix of 1 egg and some mozzarella cheese or other cheese, that is cooked in waffle makers. I use a Mini Dash one. I add seasonings of choice and sometimes a tablespoon of almond flour. It makes 2 in the Mini Dash waffle maker . I do this to make a a sandwich without many carbs which helps in weight loss and my diabetes type2. I can also make mini pizzas with them. It can also be used for sweet deserts. I only use erythritol or stevia for sweetening. The possibilities are endless and a huge help for me. You can look them up online, there are hundreds of recipes and some Facebook groups. I love bread, but reg bread has way to many carbs for me and this was a game changer!

I did not know that about tomatoes. I was actually just googling if they are good or bad for you. One article said they are good for you if cooked. Thank you for posting that because my mother in law has bad arthritis and eats them. ♥️

This is what I did on taco night before Keto. Salad like that with the meat then the shell broken up on top. Easy sup. Go wrap the puppy up in a blanket and have someone snuggle him. That's all he wants - a bit of a cuddle and people love.
I love those little pickels... here we call them Cornichons =) I hate McDonalds (it makes me sick) but I love that salad. I do it with equal Mayo and joghurt to make it a little bit lighter... very nice with fresh Baguette 😁

I add an oxo beef stock cube to my mince when cooking fot that extra beef kick, been doing it so long I can't have minced beef without it! works a treat - ALso, must add BACON!! anytime I've ever had a Big mac I always asked for bacon, and BBQ sauce :D
