For Us By Us,
A project I put together to spotlight black creatives and give everyone a chance to talk about their purpose in their work.
Black creatives tend to be underrepresented in any industry as always, even though we tend to be the one to set the trends and lead the pack in terms of creativity and culture. Putting the spotlight on some of my most creative friends just gave everyone a safe space to truly express themselves with no fear of judgment. Creating with no fear of judgement is the truest form of creation as we can tap into ourselves and say the things closest to our heart. From storytellers to artists everyone should have a chance to truly express themselves.
