I have the same one, QH15 on my Kubota. My dad, who is old school, has been so impressed by how easy it makes hooking and unhooking implements, he has purchased one for his tractor.
I love your channel! I binged all day on Outdoors With The Morgans. I love my MX6000. The Kubota salesman knows I want that grapple too. I did not know until today that I must have that land plane also. Thanks and enjoy..
Mike and Melissa I am so glad you partnered with Kubota. I have been a Kubota customer since 2001. They have never let me down once with many tractors and implements. I’ve gone Geen, Red and Blue with some equipment but have ALWAYS come back to Kubota. Love their quality and reliability. Congratulations for the switch to beautiful ORANGE. Kubota Orange. You won’t regret it. Love your Channel. Monte Corpus Christ Texas
Ya dido what Philip Ellis said. And like you just said, your really busy and don't always have all the time. and to be honest some times I get bumed if I don't get noticed. but I really like your channel because it's helping me plan and get ready for when my wife and myself retire. We plan on doin firewood and possibly a little millin in Creel Mexico. They have Kioti an Mahindra close to where we'll be livin. actually, Nathan got me goin , then I hooked up with Hank at Hameltonvill. It was Nathan who actually plugged you, that's when I saw how you put the two ( millin and firewood ) together. So thanx bunches for that. It's always nice to SEE how folks put it together to give a good visual on how the operation comes together. STAY COOL AND KEEP PUSHIN ON!!!!
Morning , I did not think I would like that Kubota but today changed my thinking , its my moms birthday and mothers day ( 91) yes she still walks everyday and we spend time watching and talking about outdoors with the morgans because it reminds us of the 200 acres our family use to live on in vidalia ga , here's to a good healthy happy life ......C YA NEXT TIME
Mike I am glad to see that you are enjoying the new quick hitch. I was one of the guys that recommended that a wile back. We use them on our farm and love having them . Anyway keep the great videos coming!!
The apple orchard looks nice with fresh cut maybe overseed the grass with some clover. Also i would expand that Savanna/meadow look to go up and cover the hill and go down the hill some, have several acres like that would be great for picnics, cookouts, some sports golf, football, soccer, other games, etc with family and kids.Would be like Park Morgan. Also Maybe put a trail towards those red pines as well.
Mike when hooking up the quick hitch to an implement you don't need to lift the levers on the hitch. Just line the pins up and lift, now that's a quick hitch. I have the same quick hitch.
With the QH15 when you pull the levers to drop your attachment you can close them once you pull forward. The locks are spring assisted and when you back up to your other attachments it will auto lock on place so all you have to do it connect the PTO shaft or if its a land level or non PTO attachment you're good to go and never have to leave the cab! I've had my QH for two years now and I wouldn't get anything else.
Like the little grapple. That is a good pair with the mower...I always run into downed limbs and worry if I should go around or risk chopping them up. Why risk it...just move them out of the way...nice job. Glad you made a deal for the tractors. I'm a green person, but love watching anyone doing work with theirs...it makes me better and safer. Thanks.
I have the same grapple I got from local Kubota dealer near Dallas Or.. It’s hooked to my JD tractor, use it for most every , including removing prunings from filbert orchard in winter time.
It’s fun watching spring slowly wake your property up..I really like the area in this video. It seems a fair distance from your home so you are very much by yourself...great place to think and solve the worlds problems!! Hey Hunter, I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed your BK visit!
I have had a quick hitch from the first. Got a third party PTO quick change and that is it. I detach with a push button and twist. I take off the accessory and slide it on the next accessory - easy since it is up and out - and then it slides and snaps into the other half on the tractor. Little things make a lot of difference if you switch back and forth between options.
Just for everyone’s information make sure that loader attachments are latched properly. We had a 52 year old farmer up the valley from us killed this weekend when the bucket came off and fell on him. Not sure of the exact details but please, please double check when attaching attachments that they are latched. With all this easy hook up attachments it,s easy to overlook. There,s something to be said for having to get off the tractor to check connections!!
Glad you found the value of a quick hitch. I am one of those who recommended it a while back. I also have a top n tilt installed, that too will change your life! Your place is looking good.
You guys have a lovely place, big enough to be able to use nice tractors on it, lots of things to do and time must go by fast doing all that work, looks like fun.
It's cool to see the new implements that you get to use with the Kubota. The idea of the Quick Hitch is great when you have all implements that were designed for it. But as most people have a mixture of implements that they have accumulated over the years not all will work with the Quick Hitch. You showed the "grapple" but didn't elaborate too much. It looks nice but lighter than the previous one. It will be great to hear your comments on this tool once you get to use it more. Looking forward to seeing all the new toys! Keep up the good work!
Make sure to extend the upper link arm so the brush hog can float over rough terrain and so the wheel stays in contact with the ground. It looks like the black quick link attachment is bottoming out on the brush hog mounting arms. I have a similar set up with an L series, and need to extend the upper link when I attach the brush hog. Will save wear and tear on both the tractor and brush hog. Love your channel!
I have that same brush cutter. Keep check on the wheel axel nut and the nuts on that rear bumper. (Mine worked loose surprisingly quickly.) Might save you some down time and a few bucks.
It works so well because you have all land pride attachments. Unlike me I think they are nice, but one prolly won’t work with a few King kutter attachments and Rhino and Maschio. Great video!!💯👍
I have the same QH15 on my MX5200. I couldn’t work without it. It makes so much difference. I live a long way from my farm and I’m always pressed for time. It would take me so much longer to get anything done without it. I can move most any impels this without getting off the tractor except for the PTO connection.
There is nothing quite like having all the attachments for that Kubota tractor. I hope you got the backhoe attachment also that will really come in handy.
Thanks for demonstrating the ease of the quick hitch. I am in the market for a 40-60 hp tractor for our homestead and sawmill in Willow, Alaska and really like the Kubota. I look forward to your informative videos, especially when the topic is tractors, chainsaws or sawmills :) Keep up the great work on your channel!
Don McConnery ....thanks Don. My hearing is so bad my perception could be off. I listen through my hearing aids using Bluetooth and it does fool me at times.
We have the quick hitch (QH15) on our Kubota B2650 and it works fantastic. There are some attachments where you need to adjust the QH but that is the beauty of the QH15, it can be adjusted.
I also use Kubota tractors, mine is a M7060 Cab tractor. You may know this trick about mowing pasture or larger plots of land, I mow like a zamboni works the ice. This is a very efficient way to mow. The old apple orchard is too small for the zamboni method. I love the site , keep up the good work.
Minor item, I lift the quick hitch just a little before attaching a driveline. It just gives these old bones a little more room when attaching to the PTO. Great demo. Nice rig
Mike really Great to see the Tractor tools I have a Old Family Homestead hear in Alaska about 75 miles from Anchorage it is 65 years old 160 Area and 60 in Timathy Grass I need to get a Grapple for our tractor so being able to see your Demo really helps.
Mike---I just thought that if you select a part of your property where you can make a 1.5 to 2 story burn pit about 20 yards wide. That way it'll be safe when you set fire to burn.
Hey Mike and Melissa, Jerry Dumas here from Wichita Kansas. Just saying you guys look good in orange. Congratulations on your new deal with Kabota tractors.
That's a fine looking tractor there!.... On a fine looking spot of land!... Beautiful spot to build Melissa a small log cabin, made from cherry logs off your land cut on your saw mill (nice cherry interior), porch facing east towards that beautiful view of the sunrises coming up over those hils, with a pool out back with a patio/deck towards the west for beautiful sunsets..... Solar powered, rain water catch - self sufficient.... I think Mel deserves it.... You'll be happier too. 😉👍👍
I have recommended a QH here and anywhere else. I bought a used grand L3010 eleven years ago from my neighbor with a quick hitch and a good loader with pin on bucket. Have since converted to quick attach bucket and added 3rd fnx hydro for the grapple and configured all my attachments for proper fit. Some of the older stuff needed to be modded a little so I no longer have to move the top hook position on the QH. My kubota has almost 1500 hours on it and other than routine maintenance and a couple batteries, the only repair I have had to make was a $70 glow plug controller. 21 years of trouble free service and it books for more now than I paid for it!
You should get a bolt on cutting edge for that bucket, keep the original welded one straight , easier to replace one that bolts on than welds one, also a Hello from South Dakota
Hey Mike. Love your videos. My brother is a manager of a Kubota dealership here in Ontario, Canada. I'm going to forward these videos to him. They will be good for prospective customers wanting info and a practical review. As always I am happy that your family's hard work is yielding well deserved fruit.
@@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans well in the current "situation"? My brothers are living in northern Ontario and everything is pretty much normal at this point because it is a big mining town/city and everything seems to be "essential". In southern Ontario we are basically in the same boat as the States from American friends I talk with... we are starting to open up more stores. However normal citizens are opening up faster. People are tired of being inside after a long winter. The cases are very few in number... As for me and my 150 acres of land... I've been busy as per normal. I've been in bush cutting trees since February. I usually split 35 full cord by hand every year but this year I have about 40 cord all bucked up and ready to collect from bush and trail to split. Just me, my chainsaws, 4 wheeler, trailer and axes. I cut alot of grass with Toro zero turn, fix fences etc... Just love being outside and working like all of you. If I was to buy a new tractor with the equipment I would for sure go with the quick disconnect system. It is such a pain in the rear to use the old pin and clip method and can be dangerous as well. Never let your guard down when working with equipment like this. Thanks Mike! :)
I really like the quick connect but that PTO coupler is very good. The chippin chick needs to get her chippin done with all the small stuff your putting aside on the trails. That QH15 is a time saver the entire system for Kubota looks great! Thanks for sharing your video with us. Hello Hunter. Ed
Hello, wow that Kubota is a head turner! May just let the viewers know I was told to never use some one else’s hydraulic attachments ! ( at first I thought that was the old grapple from RK) because of mixing oil in HST’s unless from another Kubota with Kubota hydraulic fluids . Then seen it was a new one ok thanks . hello Hunter almost time for a BK run right ! Have a day !
Love your new tractor! I just got an MX6000 in February and really like it a lot. I was thinking to get the MX5400 but the dealer didn't have one and didn't know when they would get one, and the MX6000 was sitting right there. I got the ROPS model because I would just break the cab off in the woods that I am trying to tame. You got a great setup - I wish I had all those toys!
I bought a new Kubota L3450 tractor/ loader in 1992 just after buying my 101 acres and home in Kentucky. I remember my dad gifted me $1000 for a down payment because he knew I was tapped out after buying the place . I still have it and use it every day - hundreds of projects have been completed by just Mr. Kubota & myself! The secret is performing the scheduled maintenance and always keeping Mr. K under roof ! Love the channel.
Mike, I am surprised you didn't opt for a 4 in 1 bucket with a Euro hitch as once you have one of these you will never go back just so much more you can do in safety, we have always fitted these buckets to our tractors. Just waiting on our new Kubota to come back into stock M7040SUHD with loader ect to replace our old 4451 Iseki along with our Deutz K470 should do the job especially as this will be the bosses not sure she will let me drive it yet. I think you will be very happy with the Kubota tractors they have a good reputation for build quality and reliability but no doubt time will tell cheers.
I see the loader bucket is prepared for a replacement cutting edge, that's a great idea, and I'd get one of those installed before I start work, save your bucket!
Mike, I remember you said back ( #39 to around #49) can't remember exactly what video number, when you had your Kubota L3901 how you was a loyal customer and if I remember correctly I think you also mentioned that was your 2nd or third Kubota. I told my wife about a month ago that I bet you would return to a Kubota. I bought a Kubota L4701after watching you and the things you was doing with yours and the first thing I bought to go with it was the quick hitch and I was one of the people I think that told you that you needed one. The Kubota sure looks great on your place, like it belongs there!
I have the same one, QH15 on my Kubota. My dad, who is old school, has been so impressed by how easy it makes hooking and unhooking implements, he has purchased one for his tractor.
I just binged watched three Outdoors with the Morgan's episode for the first time in a long time.
Thanks Kubota and Kelcey Cockrell!
Kubota sure went with the right people to partner with and represent their products. Good job Morgans!
I love your channel! I binged all day on Outdoors With The Morgans. I love my MX6000. The Kubota salesman knows I want that grapple too. I did not know until today that I must have that land plane also. Thanks and enjoy..
Glad to see you came back to Kubota!
Land Pride implements are top notch quality.
I started out with the quick hitch but because I got miss matched implements for my tractor I went to the Pats easy hitch system and I love it

My Deere Quick Hitch works really well on my 3033R. Brilliant stuff!
That's a nice set up Mike . The grass looks great!
Great choice of tractors. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for your vids there great.
Thank you for sharing the new unit.
I bought a Kubota with a Quick Hitch and it works great. I'm glad that you have one now.

I bought my QH15 back in 1992, it’s been on three tractors. Currently on Kubota 5740. All you need now is top and tilt.
Looks Like The Kubota is a Good fit for the Morgans needs!!👍👊
I’ll never have a tractor without a quick hitch, they save a lot of time and frustration. Glad you finally got one!

I like my flat face couplers too. I have the Pat’s Quick Hitch on my L4701 HST, and agree that a quick hitch is great!
I have the same grapple I got from local Kubota dealer near Dallas Or.. It’s hooked to my JD tractor, use it for most every , including removing prunings from filbert orchard in winter time.
Good information. May come in handy this summer.
Now I have to go and see if can adjust my leveling rod. Thanks for the tip.
Quick hitches are amazing. They’re amazing on skidsteers and excavators as well.
Jimmy Owens yes it does! It’s a must have. Makes life so much easier.
Yep - Land Pride quick hitch saves me every day!
It’s fun watching spring slowly wake your property up..I really like the area in this video. It seems a fair distance from your home so you are very much by yourself...great place to think and solve the worlds problems!! Hey Hunter, I hope you had a great weekend and enjoyed your BK visit!

Thanks for sharing guys.
Good video Mike. I live on a 50x100 lot in Florida and your videos are like going out into the country for me.
I put a length of heat shrink on my leveling rod to keep it from squawking.
I just ordered a level indicator kit for my MX4800 last week. Can't wait to put it on.
It works so well because you have all land pride attachments. Unlike me I think they are nice, but one prolly won’t work with a few King kutter attachments and Rhino and Maschio. Great video!!💯👍

My green quick hitch works great. Only have ballast box, landscape rake, and receiver hitch.
That Kubota tractor is a very neat unit with very nice attachments. Sure makes easy work out of whatever it does.
I have an old L225 3 cylinder (1976, made in Japan) that does nearly anything I want to do with it. Kubota's rock!
You know the pool is going to get done!
That is a sweet rig you have there.

I think you will be very happy with the Kubota tractors they have a good reputation for build quality and reliability but no doubt time will tell cheers.
Now get a hydraulic top link! Very handy. Especially if you box blade a lot.
I see the loader bucket is prepared for a replacement cutting edge, that's a great idea, and I'd get one of those installed before I start work, save your bucket!
great vid Mike. I just purchased a TYM554 cab shuttle shift with the 8.5 backhoe with a thumb and titan 5500 lb forks
I’ve been watching your channel for a few weeks now. I’m really enjoying it. Keep the clips coming!!
