- Today we design a new inverted EnderPorter for the Man Cave to finish up the main transit line we will use. It is back to the massive Kelp and Wither Skeleton farms to see the major progress. Then we get started on a villager breeder project above our Nether Hub. P.S. Horses need reworking.

I love how this world is filled with new stuff among old stuff. Over the years it's been like the evolution from the stone age to the computer age. EATS roads, the UFO cow farm, the silverfish farm, the piston conveyor belt blaze farm, Wilson, the Nexus, EnderPorters.

I spent damn near the same amount of time as they did playing minecraft when they both started. And that was in the early days. Hey Etho. You spend so much time building up your infrastructure in your world and then hardly ever show it in use. To me this makes it seem like lots of the projects aren’t useful because we never see you use it. During the world tour I was surprised at how often you said you used your farms. Do you think you could include quick little montages of you gathering resources for your projects. I think it would make your farms seem much cooler to see them in regular use. If this is too much work I understand and keep up the great content!
He has his Shulker box index Storage now. Eliminates the need to get resources all the time, but yes i agree he should when he does.

Etho! Take it as easy as you like! As long as if you’re enjoying yourself, I’ll enjoy anything you do. As for possibly bringing back the speed challenges; that sounds like a total blast! Those are some of my favorite videos of yours, and seeing you do more interesting, creative challenges as fast as you can would be a joy - especially with the new game updates and your new knowledge. Personally, I am quite interested on how you plan to develop the Crimson Keep. Of course, I would be entertained regardless of how you spend the episode.
But on another note, I'm curious which update you think benefitted Minecraft the most. Whether it's from a personal interest perspective, or maybe from the way it affected the community as a whole. Regardless, thanks for always making such quality content!

@@spookus5430 Haha, that was definitely one of my guesses, but there have certainly been other updates that have caused big changes to the technical side of the game as well, so I figured I see if that guess was wrong. And has he answered that question before? I feel like he might have, but it gets hard to remember every time he answers something. Plus, depending on how long ago it was his opinion might have changed.
Yeah, I am also very intetested in all the nether stuff. Not many people i watch on youtube are doing it right now as the update hype has died down - and even if they were Etho's perspective is always fresh!

Etho, have you managed to get the achievement "how did we get here" yet? If not, I think that'd be a cool episode idea that doesn't require as much offcamera grinding but would be pretty fun to go through the logistics of making it possible to get every single potion effect at once!
I think its obvious what must be done with the last wall near the guardian farm: a chocolate island mural with a collection system for the kelp, Zelda tune and all. Bring a few memories back into this world.
The chemistry and years of friends in the team Canada videos really shows between you guys, I've personally always loved every single video you've made with Beef and Pause and I really miss you 3 teaming up to beat a map and watch Pause struggle to stay alive
I hope Etho knows how much he improves everyone's day when he makes a video. The quality, interest, and sheer enjoyability are always welcome.

You play lots of non-Minecraft games but seem reluctant to upload them on your main channel, would you consider making an Etho2/Etho-block channel where you upload Among Us, MC Dungeons or any other game you play on the side?
I love your humour and really would like to see you play more of those games, you got me into Scrolls and hope to see more from you.

I think he’s said he really likes the new updates, and how they have a more diverse update rather than just focusing on a few things per update

The EnderPorter has to be one of my favourite functional projects of recent episodes for sure. I'm so happy they finally made it implementable.

Etho, it was shown that the warden is able to kill the wither with ease. What are your thoughts on completely afk wither farms?

Hey Etho, you've gotten really good at making note block music and I like how you use it as background/transition music in your videos. I think it could be a cool challenge for you to create theme music for your let's play. For example you could have a specific 10 second theme when you transition to the Crimson Keep, the End, the Man Cave, etc.
I'd love to see more on the Crimson Keep.

I used to watch your videos religiously back when the Let's Play way around 250. Things changed and I haven't played minecraft or watched your videos much since then. But i spent the last few days catching up on all your projects and I can't believe I ever stopped watching. Thanks for making great content, all these years later.
Etho's world is just. so cool.
You can tell there's history and everything is a mix of whacky redstone farm/contraption and interesting build. And just the way he's familiar with it. It's so good.
Also jobs. This world has so many things running, that upkeep is needed every now and then and that's cool to me because it makes the world really feel alive.
My dream base is an 'alive' base, similar to Mumbo's. It has a core(a furnace) that consumes logs and wood slabs/sticks. and produces small amounts of charcoal as well as a detection system to manage the state of the base, which powers different things. The reason for that? Because it keeps me busy. When I'm bored or aimless, maintain the stock of the base. Make a tree farm/tree plantation. Basically it comes with projects needing to be managed. Because in a fresh world, there's so much you can do, but nothing you really HAVE to do. And because I do not have the time to set up dozens and dozens of farms and whatnot, just a single base would be enough.
And no, I have not made that base. Haven't gotten far enough in Java to properly develop it and I had originally started designing the base in bedrock creative worlds so my recent switch of versions as well as my new schedule means that I am no closer to designing it than i was months ago
Hey Etho, have you thought about making a second channel? I know you only post super high quality content on this channel so I would love to have a second channel for other games like Among US or Minecraft Dungeons or other minimally edited videos. That could also be a good place to post the decked out runs you don’t have time for in the main videos.
I would love to just put on hours upon hours of decked out when studying, with or without commentary, I just want more Ergo content.

It’s awesome seeing you on hermitcraft and how much your world has changed. That world tour was so nostalgic for me and I want to thank you for all of the memories.
Is it just me or do I love when he upgrades one of his old builds. Like seeing the furnace room get a super cool contraption when it was built like in the very beginning of the let’s play is super satisfying to me.

Etho, thank you very much for taking us through making your enderporters. I've always wanted to know how to make one, and you're probably the best at explaining anything technical I know. :)
Idea: enderporter hub. A room thats big enough to house porters to every other porter in your world, while it would take two trips to get to every place it would allow you to have a lot more destinations while cutting down on the amount of buttons on each porter by having main porters connect to the hub. Love the videos, been watching since day one.

Hey Etho have you considered adding Ender-porters in the nether. If you have one every 100 blocks that would end up being 800 blocks in the overworld and would provide for much better long range transportation using this method. You could have one for long range in the nether and then the normal short range one in the overworld. Also thanks for the great video as always.

I love watching the nether stuff, I'm personally working on a nether base type of project so it's nice to see your Crimson Keep and get ideas for what I'm building. I also think it would be fun to watch you do a caving/dungeon run next episode. You could do like a solo ABBA caving style episode, see what kinda cool loot you get in the end. It would give you something to do and kinda delve the series back into the adventure and action of Minecraft. Hope everyone's staying safe and healthy!
To make the ender porter in the man-cave faster, you can lower the waterlevel of the bubble stream and the piston to push the enderpearl out of the stream. This way the pearl has to travel less distance when you push the button.
PS: You ofc have to leave the height of the down-flowing water the same, else the pearl would hit the ceiling when throwing it up.
He could also add a piston to launch the pearl downwards to make it even faster.
Okay, that makes sense. So, the bubble stream would only be a couple blocks tall, with a downward stream above that to guide it during loading.
So, when loading, the enderpearl passes the tripwire into the primary downward stream. A piston pushes it into an adjacent downward stream until the pearl descends onto the upward bubble stream, where the pearl stays. Then, upon activation, a piston pushes the pearl into a lower point on the primary downward stream, decreasing the latency. Correct?

Hey Etho! If you want to make teleporting to the man cave faster, maybe you could have pistons pulse into the flowing water for a tick (breaking the flowing water but not the source) to allow the pearl to fall via gravity instead of slowing down. Might not make much of a difference overall, but every bit helps.

Hey Etho! A neat thing to have on those Enderporter stations would be a map with the locations of the linked Enderporters marked on it using banners. Sort of a "You Are Here" thing for lost tourists in the next world download...!
Etho, for the ender-porter you should use different colored buttons to signify where each takes you, such as the woods, Blackstone, stems, etc. That would save you from needing to lable which is which.

To answer some of your questions,
Number 2 - He talks about it every once in a while. He used to do programming for fun, and when redestone came out in minecraft he got interesed in it. Also, he learned it mostly (or all of it) himself.
Number 3 - A long time ago when he played hermitcraft season 2 or 3 I think he said something about meeting up IRL with the other hermits. Maybe not, I forget,
I dont really know the others, he doesn’t really talk about the greenhouse anymore though. It will be rlly cool if he does answer the questions tho.

On that last, empty wall at the guardian farm, you could add a big collection/sorting/storage system for both the kelp AND all the guardian’s goodies!
He's already got a collection system for the guardian drops; it's just not directly accessible from the viewing area. One of the enderportes actually takes you to that system.
Also, filling up that wall with storage would be unnecessarily massive. He'd only use about 2% of it at most.
