I was on benzos for 10 years. Didnt realize the damage they were doing to my brain and my personality. They told me it would take 18-24 months to feel better. I thought they were exagerrating. They were not. I did feel better after a few weeks, but it really was about 18 months before i felt like my system had recovered. You can do it.

I was put on a benzo when I was 28 yrs old supposedly to alleviate dizziness. I was on it at same dose for 30 yrs. I finally found a dr who weaned me off it over a 2 yr super slow taper. It was definitely the most difficult and scary thing I ever experienced but I made it through and I was and am a new person actually turning 74 in January! I know you will pull through and flourish dear lady. I believe that 100% ❤❤❤❤ Feel free to email me

Your doing exactly right thing. In my down times I pamper myself as much as possible. Do the things that I’m able to do but I really take it easy and accept the process. When I come out of the wave of course I can do more. Our baseline will gently improve. 👍

You go, Girl!!! You are doing great to be getting through this, especially after the extreme sms you’ve had for the past many months.
