I was thinking the same exact thing. don't know if the series would still feel the same though if it was mickey. i like the feeling where mickey is the badass character taking care of business in the background and coming in when needed to. Mickey is like the Yoda of Kingdom Hearts
this is exactly why Mickey is one of my favorite characters of all time. he can open up a can of whoop ass just like that, and I love that about him.

+mizuki12341 fun fact: KH was almost that! but the creators felt it would take away the spotlight from the rest of the game. At one point Square wanted Donald to be the lead but the same situation happened.
Are you all forgetting that if you got your ass kicked with Sora in kh2 Mickey comes out of nowhere to revive you as you control him?

Basically King Mickey was trying to reach into Xemnas but he probably faced heartless too while Donald and Goofy got separated from Sora before the 1000 Heartless battle starts, which basically means that they were also in a fight with them.
Master Keeper Wait you were by yourself in this fight? Last time I beat this game was in 06 haha. I beat it several times, but yeah forgot that detail.
+Oscar Moreno Actually during the fight you would be alone and this is true, however, the cutscene right before the battle, shows that Donald and Goofy give the thumb up and then separate from Sora, but I don't blame you it's a detail that wouldn't occur in mind :p
I always thought, that with Nomura being a Star Wars fan, he introduced Mickey Mouse as a Keyblade Wielder to sort of have his own Yoda... You know, all small, agile, and what-not..
+ToonRaider Yeah he did. Master Xahenart is Palpatine (Darth Sidius), and Eraquis to me reminds me of Obi One or Mace Windu. Terra is Anakin for sure. Yen Sid too can be a form of Yoda as he too is the wisest of the 3, to some degree. In a way he is Qui Gon.

To be honest, I honestly want to see this in Kingdom Hearts 3. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy fighting the heartless. I think that would be epic!

This is to be in the Keyblade Graveyard; second half of the game; after the first battle of the 7 vs. 13.

I hope we get another massive battle like this near the end of III, like have all the guardians facing off against a combination of 10-30 thousand (yes I honestly believe that's possible, and with everyone using attacks that'd take down multiple enemies at a time) Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed. Throw in 20-100 giant Heartless too, like Darksides. Honestly don't think it'd be too hard, and we be a jaw dropper.
Oh, and by guardians, I don't mean just the 7, there's Mickey, Donald, Goofy(3), Sora, Riku, Kairi(6), Ven, Terra, Aqua(9), Lea makes 10, plus possibility for Roxas, Xion, and who knows? Maybe even Namine, which rather ironically would make 13.
that sounds awesome, and I hope they do it, apparently Nomura thinks that if he wanted to remove anything from KH2, this battle would he it though...
kurosakikun96 I think it doesn't get enough love. It's not really effortless, and at the same time it isn't too hard, otherwise it would be rage inducing. I think with the new game mechanics and technological limits it can be made amazing.

that's actually pretty epic.
The 1000 heartless battle was my favorite part of kingdom hearts. I wished I could just do it over and over again somehow, and just grind for levels :P.

So that's what those three were doing when Sora took on the thousand heartless. They weren't slacking off..........for once.

Actually if we were more specific, this fight actually occurred in somewhere different at the same time when Sora was fighting the 1000 Heartless alone. We all know that Mickey was trying to catch Xemnas while Donald and Goofy were also fighting heartless in a different place, it would've been cool if we knew what happened on their side.

I like to think that because Sora Donald and Mickey all went in the same direction after they thought goofy died that all three of them killed 1000 heartless each.
Ok legit this is 10x better then the regular 1000 heartless battle why couldnt we have this it would have been so cool to play with mickey in this and KH2 you could already play with mickey anyway.....Great vid Jared.

The only things that could make this better is if Donald and Goofy were wielding their base weapons(or better yet the weapons the statues of themselves) and replace all the enemies with neoshadows. And maybe use Mickey's Re:Com outfit instead.

Wow... Donald actually HEALING! So what I get from this is that, Donald you don't freakin cares what happens to Sora, the kid teen who actually bothers putting you in the team and deals with you bs, but with Mickey you're just like "Oh no! must heal the king, forget what's gonna happen to Sora, the king is more worth it!" That's all I see about this, but overall, pretty cool mod!

They should have made a few reaction commands for Mickey when sora feints. Yeah you go in and heal sora but some boss rcs meant only for Mickey would be awesome.

That battle was so easy that they don't even need Sora or reaction commands to win...
Sure this is cool and all but is nobody else now wondering what it would be like to have Sora instead of Mickey here? Can you not imagine the sheer destruction this would be if this was doable in Final Form? There needs to be a moment like this in KH3. Like right before the final boss or something. Just a gauntlet where you activate your strongest mode and then just blitz through everything. Heartless, Nobody, Unversed. All of them just destroyed by whatever the KH3 equivalent of Final Form Sora is. Keyblades and magic and everything just destroying enemies by the dozen. Can nobody else picture that?

in this fight I actually used limit form multiple times and leveled it up about 3 times thanks ability that let's me hit multiple heartless that surround me

I'm sorry but if I played this section I would want Mickey in it, like Sora gets injured and Donald and Goofy protect him-- and then Mickey jumps in and says "LETS FUCK EM UP GUYS, SORA GTFO." seriously would be great though to have a section like this in KH3 where you play side characters like Riku again.
