@@automotiveadam loosen the transmission mount with a jack underneath it. Lower the transmission using the jack. Get a long extension and an impact. Impact them off. You might have to break them loose with a long handle ratchet.
Just did this job on a 2018. Manufacture date 7 of 17 so it would be early. Got a used one with low miles looks to be out of a 2019. I didn't swap the tcm got it in started running it got it up to temp and then test through gears on 4 jack stands. After inital run it got abs brake and traction control lights. Test drove on road shifts fine but no speedometer on dash. Being an 18 I cannot connect with my snapon solus. Gotta buy the program. pondering now if I need to swap out the valve body/tcm. Any help is appreciated
Did you have to program anything I’m getting my 2014 Durango rwd tranny replaced but idk if I should program anything and yes the tranny is coming out of a donor 2014 Durango rwd same features and everything

i swap a transmission from the yunkyard do i have to relearn the transmission what tool can i use

@@Alialmaliki18 did the one in the video was an 18 and did not require to be programmed. Also security gateway came out after 2017

Thai job was roughly 5k I was able to find a good low mileage unit got the customer with warranty. I am located in Bethany CT
