Easily my favorite board that Mode has designed. I like the sound of the lattice blocks more than the feeling of the solid blocks. Might be worth using case foam as it helps with some rows that aren't as full. Cable and accent piece complement each other so well!

I know brad at mode who designed the board and received an envoy early as well!
my only complaint about the mode tempo and envoy is the mount, which is cool, but flawed
I used to own an envoy, and the keys near the fasteners sound wonky and feel stiff - idk if that's the correct word, but basically the sound and feel across the board is inconsistent, which just throws me off
my criticism is basically the same as Andy's lul
the case foam helps with the inconsistency but I don't like case foam lel
I feel you! Have you tried to unscrew the fastening screws a full turn? That seemed to help my experience!

May I ask which model and size is your Beaver Peak mat?
Course! It’s the 42x23 but I asked them to cut it to 20 inches deep. Can custom order sizes on Etsy but you have to order the larger standard size.
