I have to try this. I’m going to be very brave, or is it stupid, and have a go at copying my sisters two as a Christmas present. I’d love this if it were done for me. Thank you so much for sharing. BTW YOU CAN SLOW THE PLAYBACK SPEED DOWN LADIES IF THE CAPTIONS ARE TOO FAST FOR YOU TO PAUSE THEM XXX

Thank you. That’s exactly what I needed to hear. I want to do my mum’s dog too. She’s not full yorkie so there’s no other way to get an exact one. Dark fur too so should hide any errors! Hope yours came out okay. 😁

Because I'm hard of hearing I use closed captions a lot so I can read it as it's being said. Helps with people with strong accents, too, if you can't understand certain words (often not the right word on CC, too. Some of these are amusing substitutions). I often pause the written words to read through them, especially on videos where the person has a soft voice and I can't hear anything at all. Because I also read slower than most and some people just talk too fast for me listening at 75% slow it down enough to catch every word.

I LOVE that you use polyfil batting for the core!! SO DO I! It is just bananas to be use expensive wool to fill out the body! I’m just too practical! I find sometimes that batting can be difficult and bat down only to a point. I think I just need to be more patient.
    Brilliant piece!!!

oh my goodness, I've been trying to figure out how people make actual fur-looking textures in their needle-felted crafts and FINALLY a video that shows exactly how it's done, in an easy to follow method no less! thank you so very much~! I can't wait to revisit needle-felting, the biggest thing that's been putting me off from it is the scraggly matted look to the longer-haired portions of the critters I've crafted and now I feel a renewed vigor to tackle them with these far better techniques at my disposal!! :D

I wasn't going to get into this craft but seeing this Yorkie if I can find that kit I'm going to make one. Adorable and I can use him as a prop in my American Girl doll scenes that I photograph. Small animals (cats and dogs) are expensive if you buy brand name ones and not the correct size. I need a Yorkie to put in a basket for my Dorothy Wizard Of Oz Halloween costume. This one is perfect !
