Silent Waves! And what a good interview! I have all his releases on vinyl and even his only album on CD. I was a big fan back then and was spinning all his tracks in my DJ sets. It was actually a question on reddit back in 2019 about where he was gone. Great to see his still around! Hope to hear more from him in the future!

Great interview. Very informative. He seems very enthusiastic and passionate about his work. He is an amazing producer. I enjoy his music. He has produced some great tunes. It's too bad he lost interest in and motivation for making new music. I understand his reasoning though. I had a pleasure to see him perform and meet him at Lumi in 2017. I was bummed that I didn't have his debut artist album with me to get his autograph. He should make a comeback, hopefully sooner rather than later.

Thanks again Twan, for another Trance interview brought to us all.
I found Castamara as some form of a white label, in a bargain bin of all things back in early 2006. I bought it without even listening to it, it was $2 from memory. And when I cleaned it and played it it blew my mind!!

Maybe Jonas can collab with M.I.K.E. Push. 😉 And regarding his desire to make soundtracks, maybe he can have a chat with artists like Ferry Corsten or Roger Shah who have done that kind of work?

Jonas is still one of those memorable young talents in the trance periode 2004-2010; together with guys like Paul Moelands, Menno de Jong, Leon Bolier, Finne de Jaeger and Orjan Nilsen. Almost every track Jonas created is a personal favorite and reminds me of a period of experimenting with new sounds from digital vst's developed that time. Somehow it's complete reasonable to be conservative with this sound, but I still wonder what Jonas would produce nowadays. I expect something like the Anjuna Label sound or Armada.
