@@toddclyne3493 if he clutched himself he's good. He's got that triple clutched right on the money. Pretty sure it could keep up with most sleds to 90 or 100. It really just is gone. Great choice of sled too. I remember when RXLs came out, they were the fastest quickest that Polaris offered ever. I love got a soft spot for the Polaris 650s. Live about 18 miles from Thief River where Arctic's are made it was fun when a local finally bought an indy 650 and dealt with the wildcat.
Have u found yourself the 500 century yet? I'm sure you know it's a triple as well. I had 1 n it was super fast, BUT it would blow up after about 20 hours like clock work no matter who did rebuild or what parts were changed? It was fun until it wasn't lol
Never thought I'd miss it but I've been watching some.of your past videos and there is nothing that sounds like a triple. I'm seriously missing that sound from the ultra.
Clutch kit yes it has it. Cut heads never would do that. Jet size yes I was probably 4 sizes rich. But for a 15 min romp on the lake I was going to change anything.

Wow! 140 hp triple against 100 hp 650's. Triple pipes vs single pipes and all you can say it was jetted rich. Holy hell. Sorry but Storms were an embarrassment brand new and nothing has changed.
Yes...Storms were a heavy sled which hindered some performance aspects. But a trip will always sound better than any twin, even mounted on a boat anchor
Storms were very finicky and to run good had to be jetted perfectly and a bit on the lean side. I had a 96 and with proper clutching and jetting it ran pretty good. No they weren't really a threat to the zrt or mach's but they weren't completely horrible.
I used to like polaris but they break too much had yamaha all my life never had an issue loved the storm 94 and i bought an rxl 650 nothing but problems sorry to be a jerk but I will never buy a polaris again,! Just telling the truth I loved my storm but she failed I love this show, though !
I know right! I'm running jetting safe too 30 below. Lol when it's 45 about out the old girl just doesn't like it. To lazy to re-jet for a couple hours of messing around on the lake. 😁
The storm you're on... is faster than the other two... the carburetors are a little out of sync... but even with that if you were to get into her and "stay" into her... in my opinion she would out run both of them.. you have to pin the throttle and keep it there... and that storm would out run both of those... that's a nice storm you have right there...

Greasy triples for the win! I have fond memories of my xcr 600.
Haha always for the win 😅

The ultra does sound awesome.
good times! they both sound pretty!
The 650 Fugi has a sound all of its own. The 680 ultra and 650 are my favorites as are the suzukis and yamis and cant forget the skidonts.
Well said
And arctic scrap 😂
The RXL before that was dark blue , buddy still has it ! Original Yet
When sleds were the best new junk explods
@@qcfordable I agree

actually, trenton does get it
So the 800 not that fast than???
Really warm out running very fat
The trash can sounds awesome.
Amazing sound over stock
Freaking sweet
Thanks
The most amazing thing I've found is that you're wearing those gigantic gloves in 40°+ weather in multiple videos. Your hands must be on fire!
Over the years I have found it's easier to take the gloves off to regulate the temperature. 😂😂😂
Thumbs up my triple loveing brother cheers
🍻🍻🍻
the trashcan almost reminds me of my yamaha with a mbrp can
I had a storm sks 800 wish I could find another one again
That is a sweet sled you had. Wish I had one.
I guess I stole mine end of last season at 500 then.
Really nice machines. Your storm sounds kind of lean, might be the jets
It was 45 deg out. Running really rich
What are your thoughts on the 94 storm overall?
My son has a 94 mine is a 95 both great sleds. I also have a 96 that rides really nice. Heavy as hell but it courses the trail and lakes nice.
The storm needs a clutch kit, heads cut, exhaust pipes wrapped, and drop two sizes main jet or it will always be a dog, been there done that
Clutch kit yes it has it. Cut heads never would do that. Jet size yes I was probably 4 sizes rich. But for a 15 min romp on the lake I was going to change anything.
? How do I purchase one of those trash cans they sound Great 👍🇺🇸 🏁 😎

I has all 3. Carb 650 ruled inj. Storm best mph 113. Did everything but still lazy at best. All my 650s 107 mph.

Haven't started making them yet. Hopefully soon

Storm was always a dog . That’s why your filming and not in the passes …
🤣🤣🤣
I had it set way rich
get rid of them nickelcills... that stuff flakes off and creates havock....
Man is that Storm a pig. Just like I remember mine back in the day. It doesn't even sound as good as the 650's.
Let me see it was 45 deg out. I believe I mentioned that in the video. I have it jetted for 20 below zero.
Blue one higher pitch
damn your Storm was piggish!
