Hahahaha love Fr Wetta! He called me out during Mass when my son was getting fussy and he screamed out “Hey, Bring that child back in here!” Good memories 😂😂 God bless him!
This is so awesome! Thanks for asking for prayers, Chris! Ironically, it never occurred to me to ask. And thanks for the prayers, everyone! When I get my miracle, I'll put all your causes forward for canonization!
Any chance that miracle of yours is 'coming to Ireland', Father? We've lost our sense of humour - I think you found it! Bring it back please.... book a one-way ticket. We won't let you go!! We have a burning wreck of a Country so....!! :D God bless you!
Fr., I recently heard that disease is starvation of our organs, they are shutting down due to starvation. Would you try doing carnivore? Carnivore/ketosis has a history of helping with brain diseases and cancers. A friend of mine cut out carbs to heal from an aggressive form of brain cancer and last weekend celebrated becoming cancer free; definitely truth to letting food be your medicine. Prayers for a cure. 🙏🏼
I love Father Wetta. Heard him on “Pints” and just wanted to hear more from him. I bought his book, it’s amazing. I pray for him when I say my Rosary. His mom has a great sense of humor of humor and she bequeathed it to him. God bless you both!
Woah!!! I saw a different Podcast where Shane Smith Talks About this Story of this Monk Giving his Tattoo Meaning. For those that don't know who Shane Smith is a funny comedian. He Used to be a Hardcore Atheist, and Satanist but Found God Almighty Through an Experience at a Catholic Church during Adoration, and he talks about how he wanted to know what was up with Catholics and Mary and he Prayed and had a conversion into the Faith. he is now a baptized Catholic. Awesome to see the Monk from his beautiful Story!
Whoa! I saw Shane Smith recently at a Laugh4Hope event! Had never seen him before was taken aback by all the tats... and now, here he comes up again! God is so good😄🌹
I loved this and Fr Wetta's joy, honesty and humility. Prayers for him and for you, Chris, and thank you so much for all you do! PS: I have read that bike riding (stationary) is really helpful to Parkinson's symptoms.
Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer. Rainer Maria Rilke
Wait, what? 😂 Are Eskimos not real? 🤣😶 Enjoying...!! Thanks Chris and Fr Augustine. hahahaha "What's his name's show" Stop, you're killing me... lol. Take-away: "We get miracles all the time..." I plan to be more attentive today striving for "interior stability", striving to do the work "to just be normal and enjoyable", to be "regular people". Yes indeed, "good for my soul". Amen!
In my head Chris and Matt Fradd are good friends...maybe because i really like them both. I hope that was just dry humor when he said we dont mention his name on my show
Congrats on your surgery success Fr. Augustine. Perhaps it will be like my stage 4 prostate cancer....each treatment gives a prognosis extension,,,more time for possible cure ;)- St. Louis Priory, class of 1975
Fr Wetta! Keep fighting the good fight! I know that if it does go down in flames, there are probably a ton of monasteries that would take you! Keep fighting the good fight!
I was cracking up when Chris was hilariously trying to be supportive of Fr. Wetta's tendency to go off on tangents..."im holding like ten kites right now"
Marvelous interview! I so enjoyed this and so happy to get to know Father Wetta. (Father, you make being a monk cool!) It's refreshing to see his personality come through. I've had his book on my wish list for a while now and look forward to reading it in the near future. (Father Wetta, I will add you to my list of priests I pray for daily. I wish you good health and God's great blessings for all you do to lift up others with your humor!) @fraugustine8067

Whatever plans Chris had for this interview were not as good as the final result we got. No offense to Chris 😅

Although he has a serious medical reason; he sounds exactly like every SoCal surfer after the Pacific has been firing 7-10ft waves, winds onshore 🏄♂️
Hey Chris, is like camping hack but make it catholic
Is there a way we can write him?
