Met plenty like that in ranked actual slayers but just force spawns all game instead of when needed which loses us the game bc whole team spawns flip and we lose a full 40 seconds
every team needs a support player, hell in other esports there is a dedicated support player role that has massive impact on team success
and it sucks because they'll always be the scapegoat for if shit doesn't go their way
Doug honestly wasn’t bad back in the day. I remember that he was actually pretty damn solid during Ghosts and AW. He was a support player and honestly had some pretty nasty clips, but his skill just couldn’t keep up with everyone else, and that’s kind of where we’re at now with him lol
i’d pick censor over alot of pros tbh, dude has comms & never gives up, alot of pros get checked so easily these days & cost there team. Even some talented guys cost there team

On a competitive level you need players that will always make the correct decision that will tilt the odds in your teams favour. That includes taking a death to let your teammate make a play and worsening your K/D. Its running the objective and baiting yourself to let your teammates get kills. Kids that have only played matchmaking won’t fully understand what this means, but players that played comp will be able to tell when you have a teammate that is padding the stats.

I remember the OG days im 24 been around in the scene for most of my life, when Nade and Censor were head to head it was crazy, Censor didnt like Nade to begin with he was jealous of his pro content creation taking off in the sniping era, both are sick players probably similar skill level imo but never played against either

Chemistry. I think censor is good, but dude probably aint vibin the way he should. Gotta make it work with everybody some more than less. Not everybodys working out, cant talk to everybody the same way, gotta try harder with some people ect ect.. you know internally aswell. like nade said you can be doing great but how come it just didnt work with the team. Its cant all be Censor, sometimes you just get bad teammates that aint trying like that but also vice versa, gotta look at you

Censor isa good player, but his attitude is such a morale killer. Dude is so narcissistic (look at him vs Slasher on the interview) and he can never accept that some people are better than him. Half of his videos are him crying that someone is cheating because he got absolutely pieced
I think with Doug it was more of a mentality thing rather than him genuinely thinking he was the best in the world. Like Matt said, he was the glue, did the dirty work and hyped up the players on his team, which he knew deep down were far more talented on the sticks than him. And tbf he did call out Jimbo the entire time. I just think Doug gets overly hated but Definitely not all unwarranted. The vast majority of the nobodies and trashcans in the scene who talk shit about him online would happily trade their miserable existence to look the way he does, and have the finances and life experiences he has. Not Glazing but the people who overly hate on Doug, say more about themselves than they do him. I really respect how Matt worded it in this clip.
