Alright, let me argue like a lawyer: people are entitled to know whether an act of violence is terror-related since terrorist acts are an attack on us all.
There's a large difference between someone googling for access to materials and joining a terror organisation. They were NOT right at all were they? Illegal Migrant? no Just come over on a boat? no You'd think that someone parading anything to do with the law would realise that widespread speculation about something, sowing more distrust about something they know nothing of, is dangerous in the current climate. But you know that, as it's working for your analytics :) Waste of human potential. Shame
