Jrbrass nav is google maps, you can buy a dongle that will allow you to use android auto, or apple CarPlay, you just download an app and install it. You can also download other mapping programs, basically any android nav app. You will need to use your phone as a hot spot. Hope this helps.
@@1BYEBYE1 not that I'm aware of, the dongle plugs into the USB port and the USB cable for the phone plugs into it, then, of course, your phone plugs into that. I wish it could be wireless tho.

I purchased from L.A. seller and works good. The downside is the os is not 6.0 as they claim, it is an older K version. Somehow, they manipulated the specs.
these all come from the same scam chinese factories . be extremely careful with allowing these insecure ancient hardware tablets into the safety driveability of your vehicle by plugging it in . these old tablets run ancient android with almost no ram and faked storage numbers with ancient processor's . and just one last thing with Hyundai dodge and others they use CAN BUS this allows every switch every sensor every light button etc to talk to eachother Including brakes steering gas pedal locks transmission etc .these crap stereos can allow someone with little knowledge to drive your vehicle with there cellphone this happened to me with my jeep and the stock uconnect 8.4 as I'm sure you have seen in the news is a problem at least I hope so . please be careful

This units handles high temperatures very well. I live in so cal and no issues so far. I use to install a tablet in my last car and temperature was a big big problem so I gave up. Now this unit works fine in my truck.

Question, did the radio mess with your automatic headlights? I installed mines and noticed that my headlights are on all the time. I switched back to my old Uconnect and they worked normal.
your truck does look real nice.You don't have Wi-Fi in your truck. You have a hotspot they're calling Wi-Fi. and you're limited by the bandwidth of your cell provider. Just as you would be with your phone.

Jay, I got the Tesla stereo for my Ram. I love it! I have a question about the Bluetooth. Everyone I talk to says that they are echoing very badly. Have you experience this problem? How did your new taillights connect to your stock harness? I notice you have the same headlights as me. The reflector quad lights, which means we don't have the led taillights from the factory. Did you have to buy a special harness for the new taillights to work with your truck? Thanks!
Still recommended a year later? I was about to buy a 2 din pioneer for close to the same price as this. I'm a little worried about if it can interact with the car's built in sensors.. For example, the pioneer can interact with the cars built in SYNC and display air pressure for each tire, even though the car itself only shows a warning light on low pressure. I'd like to gain features instead of lose them at this pricepoint.. Even if I can install the iDatalink or Maestro to retain functionality

Hey I have a question about this radio. I bought it for my 2015 Ram Express 1500 and the radio works great so far. However, the Wi-Fi is unbelievably slow. It took about an hour for a 22.50 MB update. I'm wondering if this is a common problem or if my radio is faulty. I tried re-adjusting the little Wi-Fi antenna on the back of the stereo a few times and nothing seems to help. And it does have a good strength connection. Any advice would be great. Thanks!

My engine speed and vehicle speed dont work. Not a big deal at all. Is there a way to have spotify or google play app show up in the top menu bar? My BIGGEST issue though, is that my auto lights (daytime night time) seem to be stuck on nighttime ?? I have to turn my lights to the off switch got the screen to go back to "day" mode

Customer service is crap... tried for months to love this thing, put my original radio back in.... still waiting for return call after leaving multiple messages... many issues with radio.. too long to list... let's just say it crashes at least 3-4 times a week.. I have a Ram Truck BTW..it looks bitchen too!!
Agree with comments regarding customer support. I have tried sending several emails to the support line via e-mail and all I get is email responses with questions about my original question which defeats the purpose of having a support group. I have not been able to get my radio fully and properly installed.
Hello, I have a 2014 ram with a px3 7.1 unit, sometimes the screen format changes and the air conditioning controls disappear due to a green button on the left and red on the right of the bluetooh, the image of the ram constantly changes due to others car models, what is the difference between ram hi and ram low, that is, manual ac and automatic ac, how could I resolve this conflict? My head unit does not have the save and restart options, thank you
Yeppers, as long as you can get Spotify on an older version of Android. Any app from the play store that works with Android v 7.1 should definitely work. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the head unit is running 7.1.
It’s been a hot summer so far. It was 108 in NW Louisiana this week. My question is, how is the unit standing up to the heat? I have asked several other reviewers, but nobody has responded. My truck sits outside in the heat of the day. I do use a windshield screen when it is parked, but it still gets hot. This android unit is a computer. We all know that computers fail in extreme heat. Have you noticed any issues this summer with the unit when your truck’s cabin is over 120 plus degrees and it hasn’t cooled down yet from turning on the A/C? Thanks!

any idea how to fix the temperature units. I set to us and the mph changes to kmh on the dash. i have setting on the unit set to F , MPH and US .. the dash corrects itself when I change it back to metric but the ac temp on the unit changes back to Celcius
First off brotha just to let you know love the truck and all the mods you've done to it. I finally got myself a truck and upgrade my dash to the new T-Style radio from Phoenix radios I'm having some issues with it while I'm driving I'll get a prompt saying " event center has stopped " and it freezes the screen till I press ok and it goes away but before it does I loose the top icons and ac icons...... asking if you have had this issue with it....thanks for getting back to me on this

That is not the outside temperature, if you pay attention, never changes. I believe is from the unit but I don't know, I have the same unit
Nice looking, nice idea the company has but the animation / icons are rather amateurish. Needs a software patch to make it look more OEM.

I had the same deck and my speakers clip out after install sub if volume is above 23

Did you get the back up camera from the dealership?
Does it have bluetooth? Will it connected to my phone with bluetooth connection?
Did you have to take apart the center console to get the usb hub to work?
Is that full blown android running? Can you download Spotify and run it from the radio with the T-Mobile Syncup attached to the car?
Yeppers, as long as you can get Spotify on an older version of Android. Any app from the play store that works with Android v 7.1 should definitely work. I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the head unit is running 7.1.
It’s been a hot summer so far. It was 108 in NW Louisiana this week. My question is, how is the unit standing up to the heat? I have asked several other reviewers, but nobody has responded. My truck sits outside in the heat of the day. I do use a windshield screen when it is parked, but it still gets hot. This android unit is a computer. We all know that computers fail in extreme heat. Have you noticed any issues this summer with the unit when your truck’s cabin is over 120 plus degrees and it hasn’t cooled down yet from turning on the A/C?

mine has been installed for a year, It also sits in the desert sun all day. It has been great so far with no issues. its in a 2015 Dodge Ram

any idea how to fix the temperature units. I set to us and the mph changes to kmh on the dash. i have setting on the unit set to F , MPH and US .. the dash corrects itself when I change it back to metric but the ac temp on the unit changes back to Celcius
First off brotha just to let you know love the truck and all the mods you've done to it. I finally got myself a truck and upgrade my dash to the new T-Style radio from Phoenix radios I'm having some issues with it while I'm driving I'll get a prompt saying " event center has stopped " and it freezes the screen till I press ok and it goes away but before it does I loose the top icons and ac icons...... asking if you have had this issue with it....thanks for getting back to me on this
