A word of advice to parents in all this.
Don't force your children to live your life. Way too many parents expect their children to be what they themselves couldn't.
Your child may not share your interests or passions, and forcing them to "choose" a certain path may end up being a waste of both time and money.
Not to mention that they will forever resent you for it.
A parent should support and encourage the child to follow it's dreams and passions.
