Beretta owns Burris (and Steiner Optics) so you will see the 2 brands packaged together like this one. I carry the APX A1 compact (formerly the Cenurion) had the original before that but I retired it from rotation once I made the change to optics (old eyes) Waited a while for Beretta to update the Compact to A1 - glad they finally did. BTW since the 2 larger pistols have a chassis system (for the military XM 17 trials) the original frames and slide also fit the A1s Tho the A1 Carry is a bit lacking in what’s current in features - That Beretta sexy styling makes me want one anyway!! cheers
I appreciate that info! Definitely want to get my hands on that compact! Maybe I’ll find one with the Burris already on there too. Definitely great shooting and great looking pistol 🍻
I really like this one, unlike what others have said I don't have a problem with the trigger, reminds me of a revolver, I think that the only real issue is the capacity, Beretta has no excuses when both Smith e Wesson and Sig came up with 10 round magazines.
Mine came with 2 mags. 6 round and 8 round. No optic. Paid $225 after rebate for it. Great quality, ergos, and texture for the price. The trigger smoothed out nicely after a few hundred rounds. It's 6-6.5 trigger pull. It feels like a double action revolver. Great for pocket carry with 6 round mag
@@pigpaul the optic is holding up great. Absolutely no complaints! I haven’t done any upgrades and to be honest I don’t think I will. I like it in its stock configuration
I love my APX A1 CARRY. What OWB holster are you using in this video? For IWB holster I use the Zero Carry holster. That holster I've been using for 8 months. It's so comfortable.
I didn’t have one specifically for this firearm. I was just using one I had for my shield plus. Didn’t fit all that well but it did the job for the video
Yeah I mentioned in the video that the reset was longer than I anticipated and I was trying to fire before the trigger fully reset. Just need to train a bit more with it and get used to the trigger
Nice, I wanna do that same setup only I bought it without the optic. Any idea what mounting plate they used to fit the Burris fastfire 3? I can’t find any info on mounting red dots to the carry
I’m headed to California on a work trip but I’ll be back on Friday. When I get back I’ll take the optic off and see what plate they are using and get back to you 👍🏼
Cannot buy a second magazine anywhere in approx 1 year. The one it comes with jams constantly on next to last round. Love the handgun. DO NOT BUY!! No mags!
@@northernlightstv23 still no 2nd mag? I noticed Beretta have em for sale on their website... I been eyeing this for a few months now but that extra mag issue got me reconsidering
@@mrpaso876 for this price point I would’ve reconsider. I’m still really happy with this purchase but it does suck only having one mag. Hopefully I can find one soon

Exactly! They could’ve easily gave us 10 rounds. Especially with that large baseplate on the 8 round mag

I would definitely pocket carry this pistol if I could get a 6 round mag somewhere and carry the 8 as a spare

Just ordered an A1 carry, psa was a great deal. How is the optic holding up??
Any upgrades to it ??
Thanks.

Looks like you were having some difficulty with the trigger, like having to pull it a couple of times before it caught.

They need to make one that’s like the 43x with a rail or not but more capacity
@@stern2701 I would definitely like a rail and more capacity
I got it with 2 mags wish I would’ve gotten that burst fire but I did get the pistol with 2 mags for 200 plus tax with the rebate
Nice! I gotta take it back out to the range soon. I really liked it. Thinking I might pocket carry this sometimes
Did it come from factory with a dot
@@lonewolf5964 yes it did!
Any ideas for mounting lights in front of the trigger guard?
The only light that doesn’t need a rail is the Streamlight TLR-6. I don’t know if it’s compatible with this gun tho
