Thanks! I would definitely recommend a 9” or maybe a Dana 60 or something else similar. The 9” has such a following, that parts are readily available. so probably the “cheaper” option.
what motor mounts and frame mount did you use for this conversion? I'm doing a 69 Chevelle LT4 swap and need to know about engine and frame mounts. thanks in advance
@@AllisonCustoms thanks for the advice, only a two man show and not ready for the extra hiccups that may come.... think I'll just go wid a 572 block and turn it into a manual...sounds like that's my kinda speed....lol!! Thanks again for the advice and info
The LT5 has a lot of extra stuff that your typical LS doesn’t, if you keep your sanity through this one you should able to handle anything.! 🤣 A few of the things that had me thinking, were: PWM fuel pump and all the associated hardware - like how do you get a fuel pressure fitting that IS NOT at 90 degrees to the line? These engines have lots of oil in the evap system so plan to add an extra catch can. Check out what the Corvette guys are doing to improve their cars and plan to copy most of that. There is great info on some of their forums.
The one we used is a wet sump. They are available in dry sump also. We had to change the oil pan to the Holley pan. Also, if you didn’t see the video already, this body is on a Art Morrison chassis. I think it would still work on the factory frame, with the Holley pan, but I don’t know that for sure.
@@AllisonCustoms Any crossovers or just separate banks and mufflers per side? I'm putting one of these into a car quite a lot smaller than this and was thinking a pair of cherry bombs as I had on my last car as there's not much space, then undecided on a balance pipe
Starts at 1:50....You Welcome.✊😁
Sounds like my 17' SS Camaro 6spd with the NPP exhaust in Sport mode.
That’s bad ass! Is a ford 9 inch diff necessary for the lt4? Have a Toyota diff at the moment..

Very nice
Thank You!

It’s a Art Morrison Frame.
Great to see and hear it run! I like that you showed what it really took to get it running, so the rest of us know it doesn't happen to us!
I only wish it was like on TV - “let me tighten this last bolt and we’ll drive it over to get a soda” - ha, if only!
Thinking bout putting lt4 in my 70 chevelle...any problems installing the tranny or did u go with another style trans....any help would be appreciated
We used a T-56 and made lots of mods to the trans tunnel to get it all to fit. It really depends on what trans you run as to what mods you may need.

Sure sounds great!
I agree - I look forward to a test drive!
sounds sweet! what motor mounts and cross member did you guys use?
It’s a Art Morrison frame.
What Is the colour and code Beautiful
It was a custom mix using House of Colors.
Thanks for watching and for the question!
good work you two! Can't wait to see / hear the first drive.
Hopefully coming very soon!
Love it! What motor mounts did you use? My dad is starting his install but it appears the motor mount will crush the pipe/line on the passenger side.
It’s on a Art Morrison frame, so we used their mounts.
@@AllisonCustoms thank you. He’s got the same frame and their mounts.
They gave him the flat mounts so it would be crushing the line.
I would have ground out a spark plug or something.
To what purpose?
I'm installing LT5 in my 70 Velle…I've never installed F.I. engine before. I hope I keep my sanity in the process.

Going to make some monsterous power, great job !!
I read this is a wet sump..How did it fit in the frame?

Omg nice car .
What transmission is in the car .
I'm going to do a lt1 6.2 with 8L90
Do you think it's going to fit ?
T56, we made extensive trans tunnel mods to fit our trans. Check back thru the videos, I believe there is one on those modifications.
I have a 1967 chevelle and I just bought a lt4 and wanted to know is there a lot of modification in installing that engine
Ours took firewall and trans tunnel mods to fit.
i imagine seeing this friken sideways entering in a street
Love this - can you tell me anything about the exhaust setup you're running? Sounds nice
Dual 3” exhaust, Black Widow Mufflers,

No x-pipe or crossovers, we just didn’t have any room, the car sits to low to have anything hanging under the frame or driveshaft.
3:08🤢 3:09🤢3:10🤮🤮🤮
I had to go back and look, you are correct. Sorry! 🙃
@@AllisonCustoms haha it's OK! I had to have fun with it lol😅😅🤷♂️
