    Absolutely 💯 love my burn e max goes up the steepest hill 20mph feels like 40mph wow can't imagine what 60mph would feel like.. I orderd mine on the 17.10.2023 it came next day on a pallet securely straped in a massive box well worth the money. Highly recommended.. Toby and rest of the lads thank you for checking it before you sent it, it's all in great working order.. C,D, lol not tried X mode yet still waiting to build up to that, want to say massive respects to the office woman for her help and advice on the phone hope she gets a big bonus in her wage. I will be ordering more products from your store soon.

    Got the newest iteration of this with the Burn-E 2 Max. I love how silent it is. Took it on a serious ride yesterday across town. The suspension was able to handle these Michigan potholes. When riding in the state of Michigan, it's always off road.

    Such a bummer about the name.... but excellent review guys! The thing that's got me wanting to try this scooter is the pure sinewave controllers, square wave controllers are really just.. bad. Too sensitive/on/off. Plus the adjustable speed cruise control, thats a first. I wish people could see the value in the scooter compared to others on the market. People will be taking the features and comparing them to other scooters on the market without even taking into consideration that this scooter uses no recycled parts and was essentially rebuilt from the ground up! Even if the scooter flops in this marketplace (which, let's get real, it'll sell out ASAP) we still have to give Sha a huge round of applause for dedicating the last couple years of his life to this project. Thank you Mr. Sha!

Scoot itself is amazing but its not perfect as you get it first. You need to adjust the suspension as well as wider handlebar is much needed. Tires are okay, but there is better options as well. I can't believe the amount of negative comments being made on this video in relation to the scooter. It is one of the most custom and quality driven scooters created component for component out there on the market.
    - waterproofing all over the gaff
    - sinewave controllers - ip rated and externally mounted and protected!
    - the customisation on the display and controller
    - ip rated proper display
    - the carbon fibre stem and locking mechanism is so good it needed to be patented! I hope to see this inspire other ODM makers in Asia, im sure it will lol - v sett/falcon pev look to have mastered with the latest scooters
    Imo im not a fan of allowing a 60mph machine such as a scooter with 10 or 11inch wheels. Come off at anything over 40 and the helmet will look after the head but you will be in absolute bits all over your body protection or not. But if this can be brought down in the settings for a virtual max mph then the power is just for accelleration and is the best of both worlds.
    You have left no stone unturned on this review, which will be needed to pull in people willing to spend £4k on this.
    Nonetheless thank you to you and your team for the supreme amount of effort put in to film, edit and upload this!!
    Thumbs up.

    • @GSteg
      @GSteg 3 года назад +2

      I agree! Other than the visually crappy looking weld, it has a lot of good stuff going for it. Expensive, but that's expected for a first model from a new company trying to get into the game with custom parts. If someone is happy with a rebranded Zero scooter, then that's fine too.

    • @shifty277
      @shifty277 3 года назад +1

      @@GSteg exactly - A lot of the scooters are using for example a reference frame, a reference controller, a reference motors etc etc, when you create all your own parts and dont pick lots of parts from an ODM catalogue and slap a logo in it then you have a steeper price but can up the quality significantly.

    • @vripiatbuzoi9188
      @vripiatbuzoi9188 3 года назад +3

      @@RIDEGLIDE Yea I agree. There are some things that I like better on the Appolo Ludicrous though:
      - the fact that their controllers, also sine wave, allow for variable electric braking with a second throttle lever on the left eliminating the need for friction brakes all together and regenerating more
      - 15 lbs lighter weight and more compact
      - quad suspension
      - display more visible in daylight
      - slightly more refined; that rattling rear fender add-on on the Nami looks like a total afterthought and takes away from the refinement of the scooter; should be one piece
      - rear brake light and signaling better designed; higher, more visible
      - better stem folding mechanism; they are both good but the Phantom is slightly easier to do/undo; Nami has no hook
      - better thumb throttle ergonomics than that cheep one Nami uses that is making the rounds on a lot of scooters
      - $1000 less
      The Nami has its own advantages:
      - way more range, big plus
      - adjustable suspension; although on stiffest it still looks looser than the Phantom
      - programmable presets
      - maybe a little faster acceleration; can't tell until there is a head to head
      - faster top speed, although do we really need anything over 50mph
      - external controllers; less likely to overheat
      - water proofing
      So I don't know. Price is no object for me so it basically comes down between more range with Nami or Phantom's better electric brake control and refinement. If the Nami added an electric brake throttle and fixed the ugliness and poor design of that rear fender it would be an easier choice.

    Not impressive. To ride on small wheels on roots and stones is nonsense! Whatever the suspension is, off-road and scooter are not compatible. And on asphalt I will ride better on elastomers, on hard ones. The steering wheel is valid, no doubt about it. The frame is so-so, it is difficult to rub it too much. We have been riding on asphalt for the third year on other, excellent and fast scooters. My opinion is that a scooter needs a rigid suspension.

    Great and very thorough, especially the P setting, well done. The P1.7 got me curious - is it field weakening that is being turned on from 0-5 in strength?

    • @ralfhalbknapp1104
      @ralfhalbknapp1104 3 года назад +5

      Yes, Michael Sha confirmed it is Field Weakening. This means (for everyone that does not know) that additional current is spent to weaken the Magnetic Field that the Motor generates while turning and that makes the motor output less Voltage and therefore the voltage from the controller causes more current in the Motor to turn it faster. So it is like you would have a higher voltage battery at hand essentially but it does not increase the maximum power. So if you are voltage limited to not go faster this should help, if you are power limited it will not change much. Also the field weakening itself uses (a bit of) power that is not available to propel you foward.

    The heavier rider will take longer to accelerate, but given sufficient straight length. should achieve the same top speed. Air resistance will effect top speed more than mass on a flat straight track. If you want to test mass to power variation, introduce an incline.

  • @ralfhalbknapp1104
    @ralfhalbknapp1104 3 года назад +2

    About the power, it should be noted that you could just use a less powerful driving mode and have an even more relaxed ride if you don't want that peak torque or speed. Also on P11 I think this was misinterpreted as the value is not the current that you can choose but a reference value for the controller and display to show you the right amount of "portion of current used" on the display. See Page 31 of the manual. This is alike the tire inch size that will not make you faster or slower if put in wrong but just show less accurate info.
