I love your voice texture, the lyrics are good, MV is good enough, but the music is far from perfect. 0:00 - 0:22 good start with muffled sound, guzheng or koto, and the building up beat. 0:22 - 0:37 you need a better mic or tuning. I don't know if this is the effect you want, but it is pretty bad in headphones. The melody is good and familiar to other songs' opening like rolling in the deep. There are no chord progression, not even a bass repeating note. Together with the vocal quality, it makes me feel likes your voice is floating above and unstable. This is what people would hear when someone singing in the bar, or outside the karaoke room, the music is not loud enough and only the vocal and bass drum exist. 0:37 - 0:50 my favorite part, very nice presentation in the vocal, the change "time" and the vibrato in higher notes like "me", are really cool, the beat and the lyrics match very well. I think this part is perfect and the most completed. 0:51 - 1:12 chorus, same problem as 0:22, but this is better since there is a bass vocal part. The melody is strange (in a good way I guess). It does pop up in my brain couple hours after I heard this song. There are no chords, I think the "wind" goes off pitch and it makes me feel weird in the next line that I can't catch the pitch. 1:22 - 1:37 cooool rap. Music and harmony don't matter much in rap, beat is more important. But the line from "I cry..." is a flat melody, usually it will match with a changing bass line. It is a bit too dry here. 2:58 - 3:23 Its a mess. the harmony is not fit, the pitch is unstable, the word "again" off-pitch. I cant tell if the key is changed. I really take some effort to not to leave. Overall, if this song is a live show, I think the quality is acceptable. But this is a video and it is far from perfect. The song have its potential, I enjoy the vibe a lot. Also its always fantastic to have japanese in a english song (thats a fact). Maybe you can come back to this song later after you have more experience!
