77 Year Old 1947 Martin 000-18 Acoustic Guitar... it needs some attention.

  • 1947 Martin 000-18 vintage acoustic guitar in the workshop for a cleaning, inspection and string change. It sounds pretty good for a 77 year old guitar! It will need a lot of work to survive another 70 years, though... looks like a job for Ted Woodford in Hamilton, Ontario LOL

    3:47 Can’t put the original strap pins back in as you would damage these "auxiliary” sound holes.😝

    I am a fan of super low saddles, I don’t like large break angles on saddles, I associate it with the same concept of top wrapping a Les Paul, or a top loaded Tele, there is a point of too low, but low is good

      low is good, I agree but this guitar saddle has nowhere to go in the future... it will need a neck reset to improve the action.
