“I ain’t gonna lie that was scary” at 10:08. Just awesome!!!😂
Awesome stuff dude...I just happened to see this video. The funny part is that the next day, I get to rebuild a dana 80 off a 2000 f350xl 7.3 ..so thanks for the insite...I can't wait to crush 450 pounds of torque..lol
Thanks, ya, the more I think about that pinion bearing I should have cleaned all that rust off the pinion first with wire wheel, sandpaper, brake clean, and compressed air before trying to remove. I can't imagine trying to do this on the vehicle......
Good video brother
Wow this guy kicks assss
Awesome video! Where are you located? Do you do work for others? I’m interested in having you rebuild a Dana 80. Thanks.
congrats great attitude thru out the ordeal, i wish i was there to relieve your pain, i’m no mechanic but metal never wins over my focus, 3$ of cut off blades and a 6” 120 volt angle grinder those blocks would have zippedoddin 30 minutes congrats thou excellent job thanks
I appreciate this video man, thank ya
Good morning. Great video! Question. How is the Power-Lok doing with the new clutch orientation? Any issues? Thanks.
Good day, the diff is defiantly tighter, sometimes I can detect a slight bit of chatter during a slow turn, may need a little more posi additive, but all in all verry happy with the rebuild!
Sounds good. I just stacked mine yesterday the same way you did yours. Figured I'd ask while it's still on the bench. Have a good one.
@@mattritz5825 That is so COOL! did you find yours arranged like the way I found mine? It makes no sense for them to arrange the clutch discs that way?
@@BretMech Yes, mine was arranged exactly as yours was. I can't make it make sense either. Lol. So many wasted surfaces that way.
