Honestly, probably the most shounen arc in the entirety of CSM but it definitely has it's nuances with it's amazing premise, thematic storytelling (Aesop's fables) & your classic dose of humor blending in with absurdity....although, a hot semi-naked girl running around in explosive state of affairs also helps massively xD
Its just me or Reze reminds me a little of Togata from Fire punch? Aside from their designs being very similar, they also share common traits like both teach the respective uneducated main characters crude words, they both make the protagonist question their state of their life and ask if they want to give up on their current goals and live a "normal" life (as normal as things can be on their world), this may be a stretch but despite their abilities making them stronger, it also forces them in roles that they don't like, Reze is forced to be a cold killing machine in some situations, and can't live the normal life that she desired, while Togata can't get the body he wants, because of his regenerationand is forced to play the role of a woman (since he was biologically born as one), even tho he doesn't like, both of them put a façade to hide their true selfs/goals, Reze pretended to be a sort of ideal girl to him at first, to get closer to him and fulfill her mission, Togata at first also puts a façade of a uncaring yet energetic person who is only here for his movies, to hide his more vulnerable feelings like his self loathing and more pessimistic side. Probably there's more but this comment is already too long lol
Of course the way these traits are displayed different in these two and they still unique despite the similarities, i just thought these sort of parallels are pretty cool
Side note but the Power slander in this video is insane 😭, best girl deserves better

Idk if this is in the English version but in the spanish version the boys she cut thems head off told her that she was wearing something very... Revealed? Let's say they just pointed out she was naked.
Different to Denji she actually cared about that (maybe she felt uncomfortable with that comment or she doesn't know wdf it's wrong but she go and take an underwear to cover herself) , it's actually funny because she is always nude but when those boys told her that she literally cut thems heads to tell Aki "I will do this to you if you don't give me back what you steal from me."
Also a fun fact is that in this arcs Fujimoto really showed how well trained the public security was (COUGH FUMIKO COUGH) , because one of the boys who told her that lost a hand but kept fighting with a noodle (idk if that's how it's called English is not my native language) a pvp with Reze.
(Also fun fact in this part she didn't care about 2vs1 but when she fight with Aki she says "nah this is unfair" , she really study her enemy's when she's fighting , that's why she was teaching Denji while they were fighting so well ,she studied him very well)
Great analysis, much better than mine, I think. But you're right, about one thing, this really was a showcase of Public Safety and how well trained they are. I didn't pick up on that, maybe because I'm used to the stuff happening in Part 2 and the end of Part 1.

Man when you said you were covering Reze you weren’t holding back. A whole hour about her, her interactions, and her potential relationship with Denji. She got done dirty by Makima and her country. Hopefully she gets to be with Denji but knowing Fujimoto anything is possible in this manga.

Great analysis video! I personally believe that Reze will eventually return but perhaps not so soon during the current manga arc with Aas/Yoru and Fami. My guess is Reze will return in the final arc involving the the reveal of the Death Devil.
After all, The War Devil plans to regain control over the various weapon devil hybrids (to include Denji, of course, plus her stated goal of making Pochita vomit up the Nuclear Weapons Devil too) and since all the other weapons have already been showcased during the Chainsaw Man Church arc, Fujimoto will save Reze (and Death) for last.
I'm hoping the Gun Devil/hybrid will return as well (it would be fitting seeing how it'd involve Death), and Denji seeing Reze (and possibly even Aki) making a comeback would have the maximum shock factor for everyone involved.
