Cartoon Network doesn’t deserve this because all they wanna show is crap shows like ttg. And I’m not hating on ttg for no reason. It’s filled with really stupid jokes like butts and farts. Plus it’s on like 24/7.
I disagree. Every character seems to have been ripped from a different show. Blonde girl- star from Stvoe. Black haired girl-Every intelligent "I should lead the group, but the idiot will solve the problem either way" clichè (Ex:Benson, Connie, Princess bubblegum, etc.) Kit:"I'm an idiot that will save the daaaaaayyyyyy, why? Because I'm an idiot" clichè (Rigby from regular show, Steven from SU, and Finn from the first few seasons of AT) And the scull dude is just bill cypher. While the animation is great, the characters are overdone, with overused personalities
The animation is really nice, but the writing, well, it needs some work. It's very cliched and they call each other "dude" waaaay to often. But this show has a lot of potential and an interesting concept.

To be honest, everything in that song is true, because if there was no evil, there would be nothing to be happy about, because everything and would be gone, making you numb to happiness. The animation is super smooth and really cool. The character designs are bursting with personality and the voice acting was not bad at all. I think the pacing of the dialogue needs more tweaking. Certain lines that should get way more weight to them. The fast and snappy exchanges work, but the audience isn't given a lot of room to breathe. Midway through I realized that I had completely missed why exactly Frank wanted to kill them all and when Kit's dad was brought up in the first place. Overall, a very promising project, that can use a couple nudges to make it even better.

There is so much to register all that is going on. But The world it was set in seems unique enough to hold a show too, however, the writing could use a lot of improvements. This makes the characters feel a bit one dimensional, the nerd, the protagonist, and strong girl. It would be great to see this with more fleshed out characters and a variety in the approaches to humor. Overall, I would be excited to see the direction this goes in. My most major fault again is the writing, but it has potential. I'll be excited to see the follow up. ;D

I don't mind characters being cliches, because they can become more developed as the series goes on. I found Adventure Time's characters pretty cliched at the start, but they're much more fleshed out now.

I remember this every few months and decided to finally come and check it out again. Honestly, this would've made for a great cartoon. So many jokes in it are the perfect kind of silly that would fit in nicely with kids cartoons these days. Ah well, at least we got a taste of what could've been.

This was super super nice!! I felt like Kit was playing the "funny, slightly awkward but cool" character trope a little too much, but other than that, the art, idea, and characters were all amazing!!
It has nice animation and it has a good idea. I could easily see it on tv. Which is a good thing except in my opinion it needs more depth and a little less silliness. I'm not saying that it needs no fun and games just tone it down a little. I know it's just a pilot. And if if goes in the right direction I can see great things.
The dialog fell a little flat, and the whole thing felt a little muddled with so many seemingly-important characters. I think it would have been tighter if you focused more on the main, or why it's called "sideshow" in the first place. As well, and you hear this a lot from people who couldn't get into Steven Universe, the fish guy seems a little too useless. It could get annoying. The character designs are fun and original, at least.
***** In my comment I was trying to give some constructive criticism. A pilot is supposed to introduce the characters, their dynamic, and what the heck they are going to be up to, which I don't feel like this does. What I walked away from this pilot knowing is that there is a magic user, a martial artist, and a fish kid who has dad issues, but not much else. Don't get me wrong - this pilot is okay, but it could be way tighter. You don't have to agree with me however! Nor do the creators have to take any of the criticism I left. Also, yeah, I don't see why people don't like characters like Steven, but it is something I wanted to mention because it's a main point for a lot of people who couldn't get invested in the series. It's something the creators should keep in mind.
I love Belle so much! She's so badass and still pulls off a really cutsie style. I think that's so important, especially since she's a likeable character !!
Nice job! How long did it take to make all that? Judging by the fact that the animation is EXTREMELY smooth, I'd guess that it took a good long while. Well, no matter how long it took, it payed off, because this is awesome! Can't wait to see more in the future!
Bee from bee and poppy cat plus sponge bob plus original character do not steal spend everyday life trying not to be murdered by an entity they never met because they are 99.9% destined to be heroes. Won't make you smarter but will fill in that 30 minutes you need while your pizza cooks. Plays like it will go down the route of coconut Fred and barely naked animals.

I remember this every few months and decided to finally come and check it out again.
Honestly, this would've made for a great cartoon. So many jokes in it are the perfect kind of silly that would fit in nicely with kids cartoons these days.

Why does this remind me of MLP so much? I don't even watch it but I see Pinkie Pie, Spike, and Twilight with the script writing of Adventure Time, situations from Regular Show, and the blonde girl looks like she's from Street Fighter but she's more like Mabel from Gravity Falls.

This was super super nice!! I felt like Kit was playing the "funny, slightly awkward but cool" character trope a little too much, but other than that, the art, idea, and characters were all amazing!!

It has nice animation and it has a good idea. I could easily see it on tv. Which is a good thing except in my opinion it needs more depth and a little less silliness. I'm not saying that it needs no fun and games just tone it down a little. I know it's just a pilot. And if if goes in the right direction I can see great things.

The dialog fell a little flat, and the whole thing felt a little muddled with so many seemingly-important characters. I think it would have been tighter if you focused more on the main, or why it's called "sideshow" in the first place. As well, and you hear this a lot from people who couldn't get into Steven Universe, the fish guy seems a little too useless. It could get annoying. The character designs are fun and original, at least.
Oh, and the voice acting is great.
***** In my comment I was trying to give some constructive criticism. A pilot is supposed to introduce the characters, their dynamic, and what the heck they are going to be up to, which I don't feel like this does. What I walked away from this pilot knowing is that there is a magic user, a martial artist, and a fish kid who has dad issues, but not much else. Don't get me wrong - this pilot is okay, but it could be way tighter. You don't have to agree with me however! Nor do the creators have to take any of the criticism I left.
Also, yeah, I don't see why people don't like characters like Steven, but it is something I wanted to mention because it's a main point for a lot of people who couldn't get invested in the series. It's something the creators should keep in mind.
I love Belle so much! She's so badass and still pulls off a really cutsie style. I think that's so important, especially since she's a likeable character !!
Nice job! How long did it take to make all that? Judging by the fact that the animation is EXTREMELY smooth, I'd guess that it took a good long while. Well, no matter how long it took, it payed off, because this is awesome! Can't wait to see more in the future!

Won't make you smarter but will fill in that 30 minutes you need while your pizza cooks. Plays like it will go down the route of coconut Fred and barely naked animals.
