ZFG has an extremely chill voice and doesn't get super ragey like other streamers, so that's one part of why I use his videos to relax me for bed. The second part is that Ocarina of Time was my favorite childhood video game, and just watching/listening to it helps to clear my brain of the nonsense it likes to have due to ADHD/Autism/OCD (yup, it is chaos in there). I can truly empty my head and actually relax to ZFG's gameplay. So, thank you for this. When I am watching videos while very awake, I like seeing all of ZFG's tricks because I play randomizers for fun but ZFG is always on another level of skill. I try to take the simple stuff and use them for my next gameplay.

A lot of us grew up with an older brother/younger brother that would play and stay up later and had to live in the same room so we'd just watch them play and slowly fall asleep to it When streamers play after our bedtimes it just kinda takes us back a little bit :)
When i watch this videos they always drive to a state of calmness, your voice, the sounds of the game, i dunno i just end up falling asleep, but in a good way because the vids are entertaining

As for how or why I can sleep to this--I think it is a combination of the familiarity with the game, so it is easy to follow even while not paying attention, you upload regularly enough to make a habit of it, and the videos are long enough where you don't need to line up another video afterwards--you are already tired enough, or asleep, by the time the video is over. And yes, I think the general chill vibe of the stream is a big part too. No obnoxious intro or outro is a plus.

When I come home from work, I like to watch one of your vids because I like OoT and I'm pretty new when it comes to randomizer. But before the video finish or on the second one, I'm out cold. And I usually have to take a nightcap to help fall asleep. Well... that's a good reason to sub then if you want sleep aid. I think your issue with getting the big leever to spawn was that too many little leevers were running into walls and disappearing unharmed, which maybe reset the kill counter?

As someone who falls asleep to the vods... it's not really intentional. I fall asleep easily to RUclips videos, especially longform ones. It helps when I can't sleep, but it hurts when I'm just trying to enjoy a video and I've somehow passed out and don't remember where I was. And yeah, I have been woken up by VC crash noises before. But I also fall asleep to Vinesauce streams, so I'm starting to get used to it...
