He did once find two bows in Lake Hylia, and their models did update on the fly. But it was offscreen when he collected the first bow, so it wasn't as good as this time

Earlier this year someone (RealRob) made Enemysanity, where every single enemy has a check (which really creates some interesting scenarios and forces the player to *gasp* fight enemies.) And late last month there's been work on an OoT-MM Randomizer (now in beta.). Where you proceed through both to complete the Randomizer by using the Mask Shop as the gate between worlds. The future of Randomizers is moving towards further greatness.
An idea to make potsanity-casualy-plausable if the mod could make pots reappear with a broken texture after they have been broken once (or the item inside has been picked up). Not easy since there presumably isn't a state storing a "first time broken" or "bottle now empty" flag, just writing the idea down incase the modders already have had to come around that problem when they created the Potsanity mode (since the unique items already don't respawn with the pots), alternatively the pots with unique items could have a sparkle effekt (alla the Navi trail) so when the pot respawns without an item that trail would disappear. ((This is all just some ideas to make it easier to keep track of what pots you've checked, or just not need to keep track.))
they already have cosmetic differences for that ("unchecked" pots/crates will be more of a Golden color; when you reload that area, the now-"checked" containers will appear as Normal)...if you check ZFG's VOD channel, that was something that was 'fixed' on his second or third potsanity seed

@@jim0_o no no, this Highlight video is from his First seed (which Didnt have the visual differences)...a good indicator is the Market Guardhouse (the room with like 50 pots as a kid; the Poe Salesman as an adult)-- ZFG gets the Tycoon wallet and a fourth Heart Piece among a whole bunch of other stuff in that room, even though they were 'normal' pots... ...that said, these Highlights are months behind realtime, whereas the VODs are more like a week behind realtime (with, of course, the Twitch Streams being mere seconds behind realtime, because of how streaming works) so eventually this channel will get around to the Golden Pots seeds...it only took him ONE 9-hour Potsanity to realize That Feature should be included lol
Y'know, honestly, I feel like potsanity should actually result in faster times on average purely because of the sheer density of checks in certain locations. Like how many checks are in the child + adult castle town area combined, the absurd amount of freestanding rupees in certain grottos + the ice lake, etc. - Sure, there's way, WAY MORE checks than normal, but you also get areas with 50-100 checks within just a couple screens of each other, which means you're extremely likely to actually get SOME stuff to work with very quickly. I feel like so long as you have the guaranteed hints for various required items (light arrows, hookshot, for example) this would actually result in notably faster times on average.
There _has_ to be a bug with magic. I don't know how the bug would work, but the fact that there are two magic spawns, but it so often comes down to magic that something must be screwy.
The editor should check out LosslessCut for these videos, since you're exclusively just doing cuts, it lets you so it without needing to re-render the video at all.
Zfg talking about shorts really makes me want to see a bunch about glitches that help the most in randomizers since I’m sure a lot of people got into them because of him and may not know how to do all the cool shit he does
If you pick up as many Skulltula tokens as you can find, the amount of Skulltulas found is a rough approximation of the percentage of checks in the game you've gotten. :)

So basically the bow in rando is divided into three checks meaning there is three bows you can get, after you get one bow the rest of the bows will become the 40 quiver upgrade and if you find the second one then it becomes the 50 quiver upgrade In this rando if ZFG went back to get this bow after he got the other one then it would become the 40 quiver upgrade.
It should be noted that this (the progressive upgrades thing @conventional explained) is a rando thing only. In vanilla, if you get the items out of order, it would downgrade you.
@@Tustin2121 It downgrades you? I know that's not true in other Zelda games, as I regularly got them out of order, but I'm fairly certain I did Gerudo archery before Kakariko shooting gallery in my last playthrough and it worked fine.
MM has Rupeesanity which can make pots and crates random, and they also have Free standing item rando, and it’s very fun finding FD Mask and hookshot in deku palace!

You can get magic twice in the game. The second magic spawn is the magic upgrade.

That's the one with the three bombable walls. Two of the walls have skulltulas, and one has the gossip stone. Not sure where you can find it exactly.
