    Sir would it be possible to do SHO job through MTI for a year or more , ive heard from someone that they expect you to take a registrar post quickly after mti route. I am a derm pg and it wouldnt be possible to take a SR post of Internal med that quickly there.

      MTI does not prefer SHO jobs but its possible. MTI jobs are meant for general medicine+specialty so you wont be suitable for them with dermatology experience.Only option is MRCP and then apply.

    I am an orthopedician with 3 years experience post pg with mrcs,is it possible to enter a training post at St3 or st4 level?Am I overqualified due to this experience post pg?

      I am not sure if ortho recruits at ST3.You will be overqualified for ST1 due to experience.

      Hi Dr Suman I have done my Mch urology from IPGMER Kolkata I've cleared my MRCS steps and am due for gmc id check in April....can I get my alternatigd core competencies signed from India only ??....the ms general surgery cirruculum and the Mch curriculum satisfy the competency criterion ....but the people signing it may not be gmc registered .....do lemme know.....if possible lemme know if I can meet u once in uk ....

    How can we got non traning job there. What exactly non training job is it like non clinical subject in India. Want to know if I want to become professor in medical collage like india (anat;physio;etc) what is the procedure in uk

      To become a professor,you will need a PHD in those subjects. Those are not NHS jobs

      You will be placed in a geographical region which will be as per your preference and merit

      @@SumanPaulDoc and then will i be completing my entire cct training program from that particular college cause first you were in Lancashire and now in liverpool....like if someone asks you where did you completed your cct training so will you be saying university of liverpool?

      If your long term plan is to come to UK, then PLAB is a better option. NHS situation is not going to get better in near future

    I have certain dought that someone from nhs told if I cleared my mrcpch full still I have start working from sho level for 6 month then I can go ahead with ST level jobs but I want to ask what is use of then giving mrcpch if I have to start working from 1level ? Isn't it better to give plab then?
    N for your info I have completed my mbbs and then DCH from India after pg diolona I have 3 years of experience ? Kindly reply soon n please cleared my dought

      Thats correct. You will get upgraded to ST post if they find you competent enough to handle SHO job. You can never get this opportunity with PLAB alone.With your experience and qualifications, MRCPCH is preferable.

    Hi sir. I have cleared Plab 1 this feb. what if I pursue MD radiology in india, meanwhile clear my Plab 2 and register in GMC…, after that is it worth moving to Uk and working in a non- training post without doing FRCR or enter GP training ?? Please guide sir

    I have cleared two steps of MRCP recently
    I am planning to clear step 3 in UK due to the non availability of slot sir
    If I move to UK for this purpose, can I do any job in UK with my DNB Gen Medicine degree and clearing two steps of MRCP sir ?
    If so, how is possible pkease explain sir

      You won't get GMC registration without completed MRCP. So no chance of getting job

    Sir is IMT equivalent to Md/ms in India ?
    If anyone wants to come back India after IMT can he comes back without clearing MRCP ? & If he comes back to India can he works in govt . Hospital ? If he can then he will work as a simple mbbs doctor or MD/MS doctor?

      It's not equivalent to MD without MRCP.you can't complete IMT training without MRCP.i don't think anyone ever went to practice in India after IMT.

    What kind of niche is available in non training jobs?
    Can someone come back to home country / india with those niche training ?

      Some examples in my field- Lung transplantation, pulmonary hypertension. Its a good option if someone is planning to return.

      @@SumanPaulDoc i thought unless one has cct from uk , india wont recognise them as specialised. is this idea wrong? someone told me unless ct training done partially or st not done then india recognise them as only mbbs holder.
