Troopers reveal details behind 2024’s “Dance With the Devil”

For what program coordinator Tim Snyder says will be a continuation of the story from the corps' 2023 production, the Troopers have a simple goal in mind for 2024's "Dance With the Devil:" "We want to get the audience on their feet ... And if they're not standing, we haven't done our job."

I’ll tell ya something, Tim and the kids have done a phenomenal job at putting us on our feet. I was at Allentown summer of ‘23 and when the Troopers finished, my feet were getting sore. Absolutely fantastic, I cannot wait to see the show they have planned.

The thing I love most about the Troopers is how they stick to their roots and aesthetic while continuing to be creative and innovative to keep up with the direction the art is going. They step on the field and you immediately know who it is.
I also love the connection to last year and the storytelling aspect of it. I don't know that any other group is creating a narrative like that.

The Troopers are great but they lie. They are no longer a Drum & Bugle Corps but a BAND . I started out in Drum Corps long before DCI was even thought of and while there is excellent entertainment value they just bands. The last of the true Drum corps is the Commandants Own.
