- In this video I showcase all the completed entrances of the superstars of the WWE included in the Demo build of WWE No Mercy made specifically for E3! Full entrances were on display here in this early version as you can see and other than some minor texture glitches, they look fantastic! i wish No Mercy had them enter the ring like this. the Triple H entrance would have been cool as hell back in the day.
@@wallybescotty yeah I agree. I think that entrance is the one we missed out most. Especially since they didn't have it in WrestleMania 2000.

Have fun! It was certainly a good time exploring everything! The July build is a playable version of the beta, where's the August build is all glitched out and unplayable. So keep that in mind for if you want to do matches.

@@johnnyrocketsttv it's a rom hack that A modder named RetroRandyPrice made. It adds things that were cut from the betas. Such as records of everyone's stats, full entrances, unused/removed entrance themes, The Big Show takes his spot back in the game and Championship mode while keeping Steven Richards in. A special bonus championship path that was supposed to tie in with the Gameboy functionality that went unused, The Rock has the Sharpshooter, Kurt Angle gets the Ankle Lock, and a few more new future upgrades. It's also playable on real hardware I believe, if you know how to do that stuff.

Good entrances
Yeah, honestly I would've given up Titan trons, iron Man match, and the women's title path in this game if it meant we could have gotten full entrances like this.

Some modders need to get their hands on this and create "No Mercy 2" WITHOUT the "WWF" names attach to it to avoid copyright issues.
@@H20X there is a game in production called Ultra Pro Wrestling that is gonna be just an Indy AKI game. You should check it out if you're interested. It's got a lot of ambition so we'll see if it pans out.

Right. Regardless of that event, if you watch back other than maybe HHH, Chris Benoit during his first year was probably the most vile heel in the company as far as his presentation. He was just an asshole through and through. Even Triple H had some cool qualities that made him a tweener at points.
They were playing with camera angles a bit. The music sounds less compressed. I wonder if that has to do with the lack if trons. This music sounds on par with VPW2.
Wonder if the trons could have been better if they were coded as gif files which was fairly new at the time.
@@EliteEasyE possibly. I would've rather they ditched the trons since they don't actually show up on the Titan trons anyway

The game was still very much VPW2 at this point in development, hence the less compressed music and no titantrons

@@NamiyoVT it's kinda pointless now, but there really is so much cool stuff from this build that I like more than the final. The textures are upgraded but the arena looks so awesome. Two announce tables looks way more official, the arena ramp and shine looks so good. The menus are way better in my opinion, and obviously the full entrances are awesome. It's simple and I'm glad with what we eventually got but there really is a lot of charm in this particular demo.

@@NeilPeirson in a way it is. This version is more of a proof of concept that the devs made that was built off of the pre-existing Virtual Pro Wrestling 2. It was the demo they showed off at E3 2000!
