for back then the graphics were great! You can recognize everyone of them, they did a way better job on the faces than No Mercy did. Although I remember this wasn't half as fun to play than No Mercy.
This game was garbage I rented back in the day thinking it was going to be like revenge I was wrong
Backstage assault was actually more fun of only it had a ring

This game was an okay game, I liked the fact that you could fight backstage and get ambushed. It was missing a few things no cage match, no 30 men or 60 men over the top rope battle royal with the 3 rings you only had four wrestlers, no blood, no wargames and no lumberjack match
This came out in September of 1999 when all these stables were no longer a thing and Bischoff was fired. Sting was black and white and Hogan was in the red and yellow.
Thats true but with most wrestling game the roster and stables are based on either many months prior or a year prior. More noticeable when you get to wwe games with the year of the game in the title.
Jericho was also in WWF WrestleMania 2000--the last time one wrestler was in two different wrestling games for different companies until Cody Rhodes did it this year with WWE 2K23 and AEW Fight Forever.
I use to love this game as a kid. Loved how they the full body characters like no other game and had that Wolfpack theme. This game taught me a lot at the time as a kid about wrestlers I ain’t even know about. Now I want it back lol
Anyone else having audio issues here? Because this video is quiet. The ads are normal volume but not this vid. Surprised there aren't any complaints
For whatever reason I remembered El Dandy being on the Cruiserweight Roster for this game
I wish this game were better, because these are the best wrestler models of the PS1/N64 era.

When i play this game on my Nintendo 64 console on Quest for the Best mode on the Hard difficulty i keep trying to unlock those hidden wrestlers but every time i try that message comes up saying no controller pak found and i will not be able to load or save a game. I wonder, if i get and insert the controller pak into the back of the N64 controller will i be able to unlock the hidden wrestlers on Quest for the Best mode on the Hard difficulty then? If that doesn't work what else could i do to make it happen?
Do finishers video for this game please. Nobody has done it

This game came out in August of '99. Ultimo Dragon's last match in WCW was in July of '98.
I find it weird that Chris jericho is in this game but he was released his wcw contract expired didn't he leave to go wwe in 1999
@@christophernicholson20 The game was released just before Jericho signed a contract with WWF. Jericho wasn't on TV for WCW anymore after April '99, but he was still doing house shows all the way until July 30th.
