*I NEED to know more about Canute, plz and thx* VINLAND SAGA 1x9-10 REACTION

as the title suggests, I am so so very interested in Canute. like,,, why is his face always covered up and/or in the shadows? why is that one guy really intent on keeping Canute away from battle (is he protecting him)???
so many questions.
also, our main man (boy) is entirely put up with Askeladd, so I'm curious to see how their relationship continues to developed. is Thorfinn ACTUALLY going to end Askeladd's life???? idk!

Leif Erikson, Thorfinn Karlsefni, Thorkell the Tall, King Sweyn, and Prince Canute were all real historical figures.
Yes, Askeladd did kill the messenger for money. He wanted the rewards exclusively for his group. If he had let the messenger live, he would have gone to recruit more people to save Canute which doesn't benefit Askeladd.
P.S. So glad I have seen Thor: Ragnarok!
