R.I.P. to the Legend Kevin Randleman! What a great athlete he was! Most people wouldn't have gotten up from that mad slam, but Fedor was just built different. Another great Pride fight, I rly love going down the memory lane and making these old PRIDE fight highlights.

Seriously that was one of the most savage dumps I've ever seen and he didn't even seem phased. I used to do fight training, sparring, bag work, and I wasn't bad. My coach was an incredible fighter. He trained Dave Bautista back in the day before he blew up, same with Randy Couture. I had some one on one time before class started one day and we sparred. I pinned coach but couldn't submit him and he knew I'd burn out so he wasn't sweating it. Afterwards he said he was really surprised I was able to get him from full guard onto the mat. I have a ridiculous pain tolerance level and I was scrappy. All that being said, that slam would have been enough for me to never get in the ring again. I could take hits but these guys are straight up monsters. There's no messing around with beasts like them.

Ughhh these comments. He didn’t save his arm - he tried to rip it out of the socket. You can hear Kevin scream from ring side camera. That part you mention he already fully let go and FE just kinda reached back out. Fedor still had class and picked him up off mat in gratitude for the fight so that’s all true even tho he had a couple cracked ribs. There kimura is devastating to be caught in. Ironically it’s a submission where in order to be effective you have to atleast threaten that damage. Guys can go too far too fast and not give warning atleast which FE wouldn’t do that but “save” his arm he did not

This moment right here is proof that Fedor is the real HW MMA GOAT
Big nog, mark hunt, crocop, randleman, mark Coleman was at their prime in that day and Fedor smash them all and also PRIDE FC is bigger organization than UFC back than in early 2000
Props to him to beat those guys at their prime not just beat old guys and inexperience fighters and then get called GOAT

@@mr.gamewatch8888 Yep. He died in 2016 from illness (complications of pneumonia). He had been sick for a while, survived some WICKED battles with staph infections (there’s pictures of tennis ball sized holes in his flesh), but ultimately his body did not win against whatever he was fighting when he died. He was my favorite fighter to watch back in the day along with Fedor, Mirko, and Chuck Liddell. Very few people in the history of sport have ever been as ferocious and explosive as Randleman was. Didn’t win every fight, but boy was he incredible to watch.

And of course Fedor's expression never changes as he's picked up and dropped on his neck. He simple regains control, throws some punches, and resolves to kill gravity at a later date.
