@@alessandrodavi2897 We do, indeed I love my fellow Americans who actually "got" Oasis, and the fact that Noel wrote two of the most important, classic British rock n roll records ever. Period. Full fucking stop. Love em or hate em.... Those two albums are the stuff of rock n roll lore;)
Was at this show with my buddy Chris who sadly passed away less than a year later way to early. I have a scratchy video of this on my phone that will always remind me of Chris, rock on brother.
Dead in the water ,to good its from the heart ,you can tell, reference the photograph, and alongside Supersonic, really sums up acoustic magic from a great lad still knows his roots
Noel Gallagher is easily one of my favorite singers/artists of all time. Cornell and Staley easily have him beat in vocal category but that's not any discredit to Noel. I particularly like his voice, and put so much soul into his vocals. He knew exactly how to use the voice he was given. Exceptional musician to say the least.
This is why having a cult following is great for the Chief here, Stateside. He can come over, do 15 shows, play beautiful, legendary theatres & auditoriums, and a theatre is still big enough that you actually make some decent money off the damned show! Noel doesn't need to set foot in America, though, ever again if he doesn't want to. He does it because he does wants to, though, and I love that about him.
I love oasis always have always will but Liam and Noel love together love individually for different reasons not enough time to write why different voices, passions, angelic, goosebumps on on on !
What Mike Rowe does to certain songs, constantly seems to be RIGHT ON ZE MOONEY, Lebowski. It's never overkill, He's s never short. He's never underwhelming, but he's also not a heeeeey-look-at-meee! asshole, either. Mike Rowe, seems to me anyway, appears to be the perfect keyboardist(?)...what would he wanna go by? ..the perfect man on keyboards(?) Whatever, he's definitely....He's one of the best to ever do it. He's probly my fav. That's.. that.
I almost liked this comment when I read it, but the second half... well, I like the latest album. But yes, Dead in the water is one of the finest. But my favourite song is While the song remains the same.
Liam is great, and a super frontman. But for me, Noel is the best. Give me Noel and an accoustic guitar and that is all I need for a gig. The man is an incredible songwriter
This is how it was probably written as real as it get unless you were with him when he wrote this it’s the musicians version for the guys that play for there mates not for the fans with Liam fuckin it up
Luis Ardila , hey there! I saw him in Washington DC and loved it, maybe just because there were a few "mess ups". But that was a laid back audience. Philadelphia the next night was a wild crowd. American theatres he's doing are about 3000 seats. As far a the band: I've never seen Noel do a bad show. Even when someone f**** up its great. Dead in the Water in DC is my favorite. Probably the last show you will see where the crowd doesn't sing every word with him. After that show it's like that song has turned into a classic.
Luis Ardila, the Texas venues were smaller - 1200 - 2000, I believe. The Houston crowd was good, my friend in Dallas said it was raucous. This one felt different than the last tour, at least locally. I know Noel had been sick, and I loved seeing him live, but he wasn't really into it in 2015. Still great - but this time? He was clearly and evidently enjoying himself. Everyone was. It was nice on top of a great set.
Dead in the Water is one of the best songs he's ever written. 'The photograph of you that I keep seems funny' is one of the worst lines he's ever written though xD
BoyAboutTown82 I've been living in China for a little more than two years, and reading "cock womble" made me feel like I was back home for a second. Thank you hahaha
acoustic noel is always the best, forever
Dead in the Water is one of, if not the most beautiful song Noel's ever written.
Absolute perfection
Talk tonight, sad song?
@@jakehope6811 I think it beats those
@@jakehope6811 sad songs is a nice, lil tune. No more than that
Alongside his new one now
my son and I flew down from Seattle for this show....Epic memory for us both...bloody fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
American fans count double.
@@alessandrodavi2897 We do, indeed

You are a fantastic father
this guy and his band saved my life in 95. thanks boys
He always, always nails the acoustic versions live. He’s some boy.
The live acoustic version of Supersonic is just as good as the original. Love it! Dead In The Water is one of his best songs ever!
Was at this show with my buddy Chris who sadly passed away less than a year later way to early. I have a scratchy video of this on my phone that will always remind me of Chris, rock on brother.
Couldn't agree more, this song is a gem. Magnificent.🎸🥁🎤🎼
I'm literally watching this on a daily basis😭 you fuvking genius Noely
His voice just keeps getting better and better. here is 2020 and lovin it. Never heard DIW before. Ra!
I love how the crowd is restless and noisy until about 1/3 of the way through, "Dead in the Water". Gobsmacked. The power of great music.
Dead in the water ,to good its from the heart ,you can tell, reference the photograph, and alongside Supersonic, really sums up acoustic magic from a great lad still knows his roots
Liam's great but Noel is literally a gift from god.
No there are both gods. LG wouldn’t have got anywhere without Noel. And Noel wouldn’t have got anywhere LG.
@@elliottbashford For sure, having brothers myself, I miss them together.
If you don’t believe it just ask him
ya can't have one without the other a bit like hands
He never ceases to amaze or impress me
Can't believe no one has done this yet but -
Supersonic: 0:00
Dead in the Water: 3:50
Ahh good job you did would never have known
😂
🤣

I've got the exact same opinion 😁
Cornell,Staley, Noel, 3 of my absolute favorites too ❤️
Amazing song, saw his show in February at Radio City. He is the best acoustic singer and guitar player, legend.
Bet that was a gig!
Why hadn't I seen this before? I love both songs and this was absolutely perfect! Thank you for this video 🙌
Saw him in Dallas a week before this. Wish he’d played Supersonic for us too. Love this version.
did he play supersonic?🤔
Love the clapping just before the best part pf the song at the ending thinking that the song has finished 😅
Magical
the good things to found when they are separated is noel sings the song that usually liam sang..
love it
Dead in the water una de las mejores temas de noel "hermosa cancion" 👏👏👏👏
El ol
Beautiful
This might be the best live version of dead in the water I've heard.
stunning
Omg I can’t believe he did supersonic. Couldn’t he have done that at the Brighton gig!
yea he should have done this when I saw him at Nottingham arena awesome tune
simply wow :)
2 cracking tunes.
Supersonic has to edge it
Nostalgia
I gotta catch NGHFB next they come Stateside!
This supersonic version is like discovering new love for the adult version of your highschool sweetheart after 20 years.

Awesome, what a legend Noel is. The only depressing thing is that he doesn't play lead guitar anymore & sing. Based on that, Oasis can never reform
I’m almost sure that he still got it
@@fernandonakatsubo I hope you are right.
Noel has always been God 😎✌️🇬🇧🎤🎸🎶🍻
Tremendo Noelio! !!
more nuclear than ever. music gods from ireland and manchester
supersonic is really good.
Mike Rowe = The best weapon in NGHFB arsenal.
Good performance, you can tell he was into it
Goosebumps
Noel Gallagher is a Master of Songwriter
Legend

How cool in that strap

that would be some gig
Fucking great
Gotta get back, to the promised land..
Amazing, NG is great.
Looks like a mega show! Was the Orpheum sold out?!!
Dead In The Water is one of the best tunes he's ever wrote. Shame about the latest album.
RealKevM Whats wrong with the album ? I fucking love it
Each to their own, it's just awful self indulgent twaddle and i've listened to it loads.

Who Built The Moon is Amazing, so much better than Chasing Yesterday. Hated that.
God
Liam could never perfom Dead In The Water that the hairs on my arms want to accompany in rancous chorus.

Well he came out with the book so there's that
Noels supersonic version in 94 for creation s undrugged was better
Dead in the Water is one of the best songs he's ever written. 'The photograph of you that I keep seems funny' is one of the worst lines he's ever written though xD
That photograph of you, well, it still seems funny
Pedantic.
It’s a good cover, but the original with Tony and Paul was 10x better
this is Liams song, not the noly g experience
Karl Nelson U do realise, Songbird apart, Noel owns the rights to Oasis songs?
You do realise your taking me literally, liam sings it better allways has done
But thanks for the info ?!
Noel wrote it so... it's Noel's song.
Liam of the 90s nailed the tone for it though, not anymore.
yeah thats true, he's doing good now tho
Karl Nelson i agree..
Nice Turtleneck Potatoe
Whats wrong with turtle necks?
Looks good on him to be fair
Could be worse he could have a turtles head
I hate to say it but Maddon's 80s lyrics are better than his you just no it noel
I went to watch Noel play live and didn't feel it at all. Probably cause I prefer a different set list.
Sounds alright for a 50 year old smoker and former skier
Jason Celli lol. He did hit the slopes
Jason Celli he does not smoke anymore
Ughhhh
X2 speed
damn...supersonic had to be Rock n Roll version....
Cara arrogante, nem agradece a quem mantém ele cantando, esses caras tinham que ser boicotados mas o público gosta é desses que se comportam assim😡
Decent, but not the same without liams biblical voice and bonehead on rhythm guitar
Decent? Come on dude, NG is great. Oasis is over, accept it.
Boring, sounds like coldplay.
