One thing Victoria is know for is amazing Fish and Chips and I have been told many times that Red Fish Blue Fish is the best Fish and Chips in the City. So I decide to give it a full review. We actually go twice (two days in a row) because once is never enough to really see what a place like this is like.
I try the Halibut fish and chips and a Tuna Tacone . The next day I try the Jerk Fish Poutine and the pacific cod fish and chips. But experiences were excellent.
You can expect to wait between 45 and 60 mins to get through the queue and get your order.
Bring your patience and your appetite for one of Victoria best spots for lunch.

The chowder is so good there! I love it, but then everything is fantastic at Red Fish Blue Fish! One of my most favorite places to eat in Victoria! Always worth the wait!

It is true. We are very thankful that we can do a bit of traveling now ( With many precautions) Fish and Chips is one of my favorite things but it is so much better next to the ocean. Thanks so much Christine!

Shelley Gauthier mine too. I am still a bit sad that the weather didn’t allow for me to go Halibut fishing. I had a charter that was canceled due to the winds. I really wanted come come home with 20lbs or more of Halibut.
Love going to Epcot and grabbing fish and chips in the UK in you get cod. Yours looked great at Red Fish Blue Fish.
Yorkshire County Fish Shop is one of the things we try and do on every trip to Walt Disney World.

Wow, that video made me hungry for fish & chips. If you can believe it, we have a great place in Colorado that make great fish & chips. Not too expensive either. They also offer other seafood and other British dishes from scratch and make their own Bangers. If we ever go to Victoria, we will have to try that red fish, blue fish and compare it. Peace
I love traditional English food. I really do need to visit the UK. I also need to see more of Colorado then what I see from the Denver airport.

If you ever plan to visit, Let me know and I can help you plan something. You definitely must see Red Rocks Amphitheater, and tour Stranahan's Distillery (great Rocky Mountain Whisey)

Tartar sauce totally makes fish and chips!
This tartar sauce was amazing. I most definitely do not come out of a jar. It was made fresh every day. The fresh dill was so good in it.

No, this place uses a Tempura batter.
I just had some good Ol’ NOLA style fried fish!
Was it catfish? I had some great fried catfish last time I was in NOLA.
Have not tried that fish and chip place, will have to put it on the list, I usually go to the one on the other harbour dock where the houseboats are, I think it is called Betty's but don't quote me on that
I think the one at fishermen’s warf is called Barbs. It is very good , but this is better.

Red Fish Blue Fin is so much better. It's the place to go.
In the Black Country Living Museum here in the UK where they do some exterior filming for Peaky Blinders there is a fish and chip shop built around a hundred years ago. Don't know if it's the way they cook it but their fish and chips are amazing, since it's a small shop the queue is always 20+ minutes and people are happy to wait.
I really want to visit the UK and get some traditional fish and chips.
No need for you to go to London. That Fish and Chips looked better than across the pond!

The weather was great for the most part. The food in Victoria is great.

It was soooooooooo good! I wish there was something that even came close to that quality here in Calgary but there really isn't at least when it comes to fish and chips. I guess that just makes going to Victoria that much more special.

Everything at this place is super fresh. The tempura batter on the fish is so crisp. I wish I was still there!
