When I first heard this song I thought that Stu's voice was kind of cringe and I thought I was too cool for this. Time passed and I started to like more TTNG songs and now I got to the point where I can't go through a single week without giving a listen to the whole album. Animals have been with me in the worst and best moments giving me hope for a better future. I learnt that signing whatever you feel is not cringe, it's cringe to be the guy who feels superior by listening to unknown bands or the guy who rejects true music because it doesn't sound like 4 chan. I think its the acoustics of the room that make his voice sound so swell. I also agree it does sound better than the album version but its a live performance you can't mimic that kind of energy and emotion
His voice is so heavenly. Its so authentic. Such a shame they never blew up. They were always amazing only for the special group of us that loved them. But truthfully they never broke 70k views max.

They were quite big in the indie scene of the late 00’s and early 10’s but yeah… they deserve so much more love.
