Right now Liko has the lead for me, followed close by Friede and Cap, but I still need to see more of Dot. I feel there's a good character development in the future. I have the feeling that the closure of Dot will be her making a face reveal.
Yo-ssu elite trainer mark! My answer has to be liko, I absolutely love this charecter,she is sweet and cute and so pure of heart. Liko has to be one of god's own creations, and not an amalgamation of the past pokegirls.
Roy is so energetic and I love it!
@@Brekdak yeah, I love him too. He deserves just as much love as liko.
Something that I hope now that they arrived to Paldea is just one thing. That Dot uses the opportunity and make a colab stream with Iono. Imagine while probably Roy or Liko are there both appear of the sudden and start using them for fun. About my favorite character. I still need to see more of Dot, but right now Liko is keeping the lead.

I really enjoys this episode, I like the character interactions, continuity, and Sprigatito antics. I love the detail that Zir is asking Nidothing some tips to get go in battles. I also really like Liko expressions in this episode, a lot of them are funny. However, a detail I notice is when Nidothing/Dot is giving advice to Liko, I wonder if that advice would return back to Dot when Liko is interacting with her? Anyway, I use doughnut.
Everytime I read "doughnut" it looks so wrong to me. Anyways yeah I agree with what you're saying about the episode lol. Dot's advice is ironic since she *never* changes her environment
"An ancient treasure with a Legendary Pokemon sealed inside. Look, I know Gholdengo isn't a Legendary Pokemon. However, I have a feeling Dot MIGHT get a Gimmighoul because it's a Pokemon literally 'sealed' in its chest which is full of coins/ancient treasure! Well at least the Chest Form is lol
Now, you can't tell me Gholdengo isn't a Pokemon a streamer would have to boost ratings with its energetic/friendly personality! It evolves when a Gimmighoul has enough coins and it literally comes out of its chest (shell) just like Dot might eventually come out of her Nidothing suit/shell when she is open to having friends!
I think Gimmighoul and Dot's growth together could be represent by their journey to gather 9999 coins or something.

I'll be surprised when any of Liko, Roy, or Dot catch a new Pokémon, I just have a feeling they'll be using only the Paldea starters for a long time. I do really hope we see Gholdengo play a role in the anime though!

This episode was good. I found liko relatable here. Maybe well get a backstory on how Dot joined the team and how she got quaxly

I agree, it was super fun
When they revealed Dot was Murdock's niece & we saw glimpses of her, I couldn't see the similarity. But when we saw her pull her bangs up to see her face in Horizons' 1st Filler EP, I can see the resemblance. (And I can't believe Zir is a fan of Nidothing!!!) - And I also loved how when they were wondering why the food provisions were low in the meeting room, the 4 girls of the crew present there blamed & looked at the guys (and I mean they weren't wrong as Murdock was using them to get Dot to eat)
Definitely 8/10 territory for me, too. Liko's freakout was easily worth 2 or 3 points by itself lol. This series just keeps firing on all cylinders and I'm so here for it!
I always thought I was the biggest Nidothing superfan, but Liko might have me beat after that reaction hahaha

I could see Roy, Dot, and Liko (especially Roy) taking on the paldea gym challenge to get stronger and not have to be saved by Friede and fight the evil team. What do you think Mark?
I think there's no way three different characters all challenge the Gyms lol. But maybe one of them, which I think would most likely be Roy

@@Nixkk liko will do the gym challenges,roy will do the treasure hunt or titan fight,and dot will probably just Collab with iono. As long as liko doesn't do contests or performances.

Great Review
I just started watching Pokémon with Ash Ketchum and Pikachu. Watching their battling against, different trainers, regional rivals, gym leaders and Island Khuna, and the (past) World Monarch.
At this moment Pokemon Horizon isn’t truly focusing on Pokemon Battling, while Pokemon Battling has so much action, and so much powerful Pokemon using powerful moves. I am really liking this season. Pokemon Horizon is highlighting individual characters and their personality. I am very interested to see more of Dot’s development and potential reveal. I want to see more of Fuecoco as Sprigatito development, more than just them becoming stronger battlers, I want to see their individualities shine.
I like how Roy (the secondary protagonist) is more like Ash. It added a uniqueness to Liko.
(If Liko was like Ash, we would just say the main character is a female Ash. But she truly isn’t)
It is that uniqueness that allows Liko shine!!
I agree with a lot of what you said, great points! On the topic of battling, I am curious to see how Horizons implements battles into the story. We are only 8 episodes into this series, but generally Ash would have his first "important battle" of the series in the first 20 episodes or so. I wonder if Pokémon Horizons will have a battle focused episode anytime soon?

I give this episode an 8.5/10 I really like this episode. I love the little scenes of charecter personality and the friede and Roy bonding moments,that was very much needed. and hopefully dot will be able to come out of her shell and open up to her friends.
What I really like about this episode is liko's way of trying to befriend dot, sometimes having the same interests makes it easier to make friends with someone you don't really know 😁
The moment when Liko and Dot truly meet is going to be amazing, I can't wait to see it one day

i love that there is a character named Murdock....always loved that name (it's not mine), never thought it happened....sounds like name of a pokemon, some kind of poison/ghost that looks like a plank of wood or driftwood that used to belong to a dock blown down by a storm, being alone makes it lonely, remembers when it was part of something useful and not alone, gets into fights with Dhelmise
I think the seeds of Liko x Dot is sewn, let’s see if it gets watered.

Fried and Pikachu became so instantly relatable at the beginning lol. Apart from that, I think I'm the only one who didn't like the episode.😅 I don't know, it just seems too inconsequential and I still don't buy into Dot - I feel like she's the asshole character just for the sake of being the asshole character, if you know what I mean. Tough I like how Quaxly binds with her - will she be one of these characters that's bad with human relations but good with Pokemon ones? Idk. Hopefully we can see some development going forward.
